I finally cut one of my three girls, she was ready. Could have gone a while longer to let a few more trichs go amber, but I like 'em a bit more cloudy. Just cut her last night.. No digi-scale to check wet weight.. I'll let ya guys know what the dry weight turns out to be. The other two still need about 2-3 weeks. Woo! Another satisfied Rollitup'er!!

Looking good sanchez! What strain was it? Did you measure what the wet weight was? I'm curious to know what the dif. will be between the wet and dry.

hey for one plant, and your first grow, thats nothing to be bummed about. Keep growing!
Great looking Herb.After only approx. four days of drying they were ready to jar. I had planned on drying for seven days but the stems are already starting to snap and I dont want to over-dry the buds. I think they dried quickly due to the fact that they are pretty airy, loose buds probably due to the poor light setup. If I decide to grow again buying a 400w HPS light and ballast tops my list of improvements.. better nutes, better soil, better lights, better air circulation, better seeds, better temperature and humidity management.. bleh. Suffice it to say that this was my first attempt and I've learned so much, and my next grow will certainly reflect that learning. It smokes pretty well, but I cant wait to get it properly cured. I'll keep you guys posted!

What's the end yield?
Sorry it took so long to post the dry yield, I had to buy a new scale.
It weighed out after manicuring, drying and curing to over 35g.
I say over 35g because I have been personally smoking off it for almost two weeks now, and I used quite a bit for my best friends birthday that just passed. So, I have ~35g left out of what I estimate to have been about a 50g total harvest. My next two plants are roughly two weeks from harvest so I'm excited about that too!!

Oh ya, lol, how does it smoke?
Well it looks great, big frosted nugs, and hairs'o'plenty. It smelled like nastiness while drying and partially through curing but the smell has now changed to a sweet and lightly skunky smell which I like a lot. Also the nugs have a lot of smell to 'em, for instance I was driving to a friends place and had a small bag with me in my car, you could smell it easily throughout the entire vehicle.. I gotta be carefull with that strong of an odor. The high is very mental which I like, but lacks much body high.. I harvested with the trichs 10% clear 20% amber and 70% cloudy to intentionally get a finished product that was more mental. But I do miss the stoned body high sometimes. So this herb has turned out great for middle-day toking, playing games, drinking and other times when you have stuff to do, but next time I think I'll let them go longer to achieve a more balanced mental/physical high.
The taste is smooth and a bit sweet like the smell, easy to take large rips and never a headache. The buds are a bit light and fluffy, but they dont look it. I am overall pleased.
