Freshly trimmed weed exposed to sub zero temperatures?

Hey all, so I am moving across the country mid winter. Our moving day is exactly 8 weeks into flowering. So it looks like I have to chop my plants at 8 weeks (a bit early I know), and then immediately ship them with the rest of the stuff we are moving. My plan was to hang them in cardboard boxes and put them in the trunk of my car - which is also being shipped. We live in Canada so it's legal, no problem there. My worry is that the freshly cut weed will be exposed to freezing temperatures. Do you think it will be ok?

Not sure if it helps but they do make heat packs for shipping stuff like live tropical fish and what not. They take styrofoam and make the cardboard box into a little cooler.

Maybe just give your plants to a friend before the move and have them dry them, share some of the harvest with you.

I don't think they'll be ready in time, and having to keep them around in freezing conditions for a week or two before being able to dry seems pretty likely to have problems.

Remember thought it’s only legal to have 30g or less whilst out in public. Per person. A fresh stinky trunk load full could be trouble.
also cant transport flowering plants some police will call it a "plant" because the stems are still there. be careful

Package it up and freeze it, then do a fresh frozen extraction at your new place. Safest bet to get something out of your buds if they're not dry.

Or mail it to myself xpresspost. How long could fresh weed stay good in a sealed bag/enveloped before it goes moldy? Would one day be ok?

Put them in a Styrofoam cooler surrounded by water. The water will not go below freezing until it goes through the phase change to ice. Put the weed in Ziploc bags or the water in plastic bottles, leave some room for expansion. Whatever you have at hand or how to get it done. If you can change out the water on the road even better. Two litre pop bottles, keep a couple in the passenger area and swap them out with the cooler ones.

If it's not totaly dry you are going to get mold. Mailing might not be a bad idea once dry. But check
up ont he laws for sure like others say. You might have to send a few packages instead of one to keep legal.

Get an ac converter and a tiny heater on an extension cord. Bolt it down or something and check it often.
