Fresian Dew germination issues ?

A "friend" with considerable grow experience has reported having difficulty germinating Dutch Passion's Fresian Dew. The seeds appeared immature. Has anybody had a similar experience? This is a good outdoor strain, reports the friend, WHEN they germinate.

I've heard they are a great outdoor starin, haven't heard about this years crop of seeds. From Attitude Seeds?
Someone posted on here a few weeks ago that they thought it wasn't a potent strain, but everything I've read states it's very potent. Maybe the guy who posted got some that didn't get a chance to mature.

When they germinate they do well, the problem was immature looking seeds and poor germination from the get go. Wondering if anybody else has experienced this?

Did you get your seeds from Attitude Seeds? Sorry should have just asked that outright. That might help others answer.

growing it as i speak , 2 out of 3 germmed , cant give a fair idea based on numbers except to say there ok , the third popped the surface and died , i listed this as ``shit happens ``

never grown these before but brought them based on a shit load of recommendations , the smoke is either great or average depending on whom you are , most report straong so thats good enough for me ,also mold resistant and the yields are said and shown to be excellent in the uk , thats why i brought them , another equaliy recommended or even more so is maroc , its said to be a heavier stone and the same attributes as f/dew , i also have p/maroc on the go for the same reason

I ran Frisian dew 2 summers ago. The seeds didn't look as mature as some others that I grew but all 5 popped and grew. I used the jiffy large tomato peet pellets to germinate them with. Just put them in the pellets, left a large hood over the tray and had a heating mat under the tray. 30 seeds in all, 5 Frisian Dew, and within 3 days all 30 sprouted.

Never grew it but I've also heard great reviews about it outdoors. Don't know what to tell you man if they don't germ I guess they don't germ. Are you keeping them warm? Temperature plays a big part in germination. As soon as I plant my seeds they go right under 24/0 light.

Nope, from Hemp Depot. I'm not trying to slander them, they have great service and usually very good seeds. I'm of the opinion the seeds were packed, as immatures, the kind that have a very low chance of ever popping. Several times Fresian was ordered, every time the shipment came on time, in the breeder pack, but each time the seeds looked poor. So I'm curious if a bunch got packed from Dutch passion that never should have been packed and sold. The person that tried germinating them has a good deal of experience and high success rate, so I'm skeptical that it was human error at the customer end, but it remains a possibility. Some seeds seem to germinate almost immediately and some need the rosary beads and a rabbits foot. Alot of this can be explained by the respective seeds maturity and the germinating method for sure....

Anyhow, thanks for the comments so far. I agree Fresian is a good outdoor plant, (two nice ones last year) , I just wanted to see what others had experienced and make sure other people were aware that some of the Fresian seeds look and behave very iffy. Hopefully others have better luck.

That sucks big time...I bought my seeds last year. Chronic Juicy Fruit, White Widow, Blue Widow and a Diesel from Dutch Passion via Attitude and they all sprouted. I wanted to get some Frisian Dew (because they were written up as a top 10 must for outdoor growing) this year, but might stay clear of them.
