By soil less I meant hydroponics,I don't do soil anymore but when I did I used 50% soil with no nutes added 25% perlite (for soil aeration) 25% vermiculite (retains water good),and simply bought water soluble nutrients and had great results

cool cool.. got any links for information/prices where i can buy the perlite and vermiculite.. im pretty sure the perlite is like little rocks, so i could see how that would drain water... and with the soil, what do u mean no nutes? (sorry im clueless on simple things)

They have soil with time release nutrients in them,it says it on the label, when I grew soil I stayed away from these because once you are flowering and you want to flush to harvest sometimes these time release nutrients still in there and make it a nightmare to flush correctly, you can purchase both these items at home depot

It's up to you,but to me it was much easier. If you do go with the soil mix I recommended just mix it all up real good

alright cool... doesnt sound too hard... and like i said im prolly not gonna do any drip system so im watering by hand.. hopefully that doesnt effect anything... how big of pots should i transplant the small plants in after theyve grown a little bit? i only want to transplant 1 time to make it easier... and whatever size pot it is along with the mixture u just told me, how much water should i give each plant? i know the common rule is until the top soil is moist and re water when its dry about 1/2 inch down.

if you sign up for paypal you can add a credit card as a payment option or apply for the paypal card itself. You can also have the money directly taken from your bank account. and its not like ordering seeds its legal to buy this stuff so unless you are a really large scale grower I think its great

start out in peat pots I posted a link u can buy them from or just to see what I mean in your thread on soil. You can transplan them out as soon as you see roots poking through the bottom and into your 2-3 gallon pots. It sometimes shocks them being in a new pot so expect growth to delay for a day or two after any transplant. starting in organic seed starter is another great idea to help the fragile baby roots. dont let it get dried out but dont make it wet for the small roots either or they wont stretch for the moisture. the first week or two is very very paticular and the plants are less resiliant obviously
