FRIDGE GROWS FROM DOWN UNDER

these where taken 3 days ago all seems to be going well got another clone it has purple through it its ment to be big bud/kush the orignal mother plant came from a seed bank like my other big bud/kush but we'l see how it goes,as for these two big girls the big bud kush on the right in theses photos coming along pretty well main cola at 210mm from the base of the cola to the tip. The afgan/kush on the left is about aweek to two weeks behind the right, so looking forward to harvest, the one on the right could still be 4-6 weeks aways but but in my experience with this gene/strain from my mate it can finish very quickly as my last couple i had from him did and were great yeilders a wee bonsi plant that yeiledd 26grams dry but in saying that i trained the hell out of it hope yous enjoy

seems to be coming along cant wait for eveything to start swelling up added two 25w cfls to the back for extra lighting but i thingk it may be a wee but late but they got about 3 weeks to go the to main colas are looking about 20cm high and 7cm at the base and 5cm at the top atm thats on the right on the left she hasnt quite filled the gaps but around 30cm give or take high and 5cm wide top to bottum heres the pics

What light are you using ??? Looks like hps how many watts. ??

250 watt hps son-t and two cfls in the back, Took theses pics this morning the one on the right has about 80% cloudy trics atm id guess maby 5% golden and 15% clear wish i had one of those usb microscopes maby on my santa wish list aye,the one on the left has a wee way to go 2-3 weeks,had sum problems with the nutrients with both over feed a weebit and took a week to come right all is well other than that bring on harvest

Lookin nice man! By the sound ofit you'll be harvesting here in a week or two . What are you expecting for a harvest?? It looks like you'll get close to an Oz

There is a big fridge on the street outside my place waiting to be picked up by the council, pity I'm in a one bedroom unit.
I know they are great for insulation and easy to control the temperature inside whether it be hot or cold.

yeah your pretty spot on the money there mr.moniker id be giving the one on the right another week from ruff guess id say maby every thing on it 37g dry but thats being wishful altho its a very dence bud compared to the left but hasnt growen as plentlyful as the left, still waiting on the glands on the left to fill out but good things take time

bloody oath fridges are the way to go for stealth i think anyway,this is y second frige as my first one was a bar fridge

I don't know if you are looking for suggestions but i have a few I would like to share with you.

The cfls/supplemental would be better used up above teh canopy so the light hits the top side of the canopy. remove the lower shaded buds if you need to.. the energy will be redirect to the main colas.

Top each plant once if you are running 2 plants or 2 rounds of topping for a single plant. Otherwise LST and supercropping.. point being if you manipulate your plant you can make a better use of your space.

Switch those supplemental CFLS to LED.. Will improve the quality of teh buds and lower the heat. cree bulbs at home depot work great.. about 1 dollar per watt.
they are superior lights and the price is right finally.. don't get some outdated, decorative, or cheap chinese LEDS though. make sure the lumen/watt ratio is around 70-80.

cheers BeastGrow will take that advice on board haven't ventured into leds so far yet have had a eye out for led lights tho VERY VERY pricey in new zealand tho as for this setup its been all perks of my job only had to pay for the timer extension cord and silicon seal everything else was a freebie that includes the ballast bulbs and Tex screws and sheet metal the rest was reassigned gear from ma bar fridge i had including the cfls ,yeah this was more or an experiment than anything with having two in there, original the plan wasn't to have the get so tall but and to still have the other plants i did have (before they turned hermi) but beggars cant be choosers so i ended up with theses two but not realizing that the light wouldn't penetrate so far as to reach the bottom buds as iv only well really only grown antlers/bonsai plants of 30cm max in height and wel trained whilst in veg as theses didnt hav as much in the way of training and the fridge was a work in progress lol STILL IS didnt get alot of time to work them in the way i should have between work and the kids,but i am for sure gonna go the way of leds along with my hps also gonna run a auto pot gravity feed unit for the feeding save me alot of pissing around every day watering that was also a big a factor in my size and quality i feel.
what sort of leds are the best to look for as i.e. light spectrum,watts,lumins, brands?

heres my first chop from last night this was the big bud/kush i checked the trics they were about 30% cloudy 70%is goldy bronze with a wee touch of clear here and there,iv also been making sum oil with iso i do very much so enjoy doing,also have afew wee next grow seedlings and clone coming along there

so far all has dryd out to be around 33g so just over an oz id say she"l come down to around bang on 31 give or take lol most likely take, unfortunately i cant taste test as im on a rehabilitation program through work........... fuckers but i suppose i gotta pay the bills on the other hand makes for a great hobbie and i usually select a mate to come round and test and compare all my home growen acquired and cured pot i have stashed away for the last year its actualy ment for when i come off the rehab program.....................2years to go lol cant wait aye!!!!!!1

in 2 years you will have a legendary stash of weed though. I've heard a lot of people talk up their 2-3 year cured buds XD. My stuff never made it past 2 months

yeah true that Gemugrow my stash atm consists of about 12g split of power kush/wel nz strain of, big bud/kush, my berry one which is quite local for us very fruiti lol but any way was doing my usual morning rounds on ma fridge and found sum sleigh lil seeds popping up on one of the very bottom pop corn buds and after i decided to check the tricomes on these lower bud branches just to see if it was worth the while to chop afew them off wel which theyre about 60-70% cloudy so i decided to trim about 6 of the lower bud branches off leaving the main one with the seeds on as im hoping that they may be ready in time for when i harvest,i hung and started to dry them........................ well 5 hours later come back from a friends house and walk in not thinking anything of those small buds/branch i open the fridge to check the temp and see how the buds where drying and what do i see to wee bundles of bananas steering my BIG MAIN bud in the face and they'd already popped half of them so i pulled them off and placed the pollen over a couple of pistols/tiny bud sights on two of my little plants iv got vegging that'd sexed so fingers crossed for sum femd seedling to come from that situation took acouple photos of the bud with the seeds thst still on the plant they not that great tho as for my kush that's still under she seems to be going well other than the seeds and the pollen,my final weight on the big bud was 29g unfortunly i didnt get a pic of it out of the bag on the scales but i did weigh the bag weighing 2g before swaping from the jar to the bag but all the bud weighed 29 so im quite happy with that heres sum pics

well did the final chop on monday wasnt keen on letting her go any longer was a very mixed thoughst of weather to leave it or not, but i did what i had to do i got a better weigh in on this one than the big budd/kush being but only just tho, she was alot more sour smelly than the big budd every thing weighd 98g after chop and once dryd came to 31g turn still retained her smell after drying but then took on the semi apperance of outdoors. From what i was told both being compared smoke vs smoke the big bud had a longer more mellow high but the kush was alot more of a instant full on high which eased off alot faster and had quite a strong smack you in the face smell from being smoked thats what i thought from standing at the door while the bro was toking away on his bong,heres the photos
