If you deny a cop it gives them the idea you might be a good prospect. On the other hand if you accept it could give them the idea you are a good prospect. In other words your fucked so you may as well
cop a tude and deny that shits nizzle

I have people on my friends list who seem like they really dislike me. But I'm too lazy to go through it since it's no that important to me. I add everybody. I have nothing to hide, and it's pretty easy to just click add. I mean, if they REALLY wanna see the shit ton of posts I make, be my guest.

There are a few things I like about though. You can see who is online, so if you really want to ask a question or need some help, you can shoot them a message.
and if you're trying to keep updated on a thread that a friend posts on, you can just click on the thread straight from your wall.

So in short, it tosses more benefits your way than not having anybody on your friends lists. :)

Maybe I am paranoid but I hate it when someone new I dont know sends a request a red flag goes up .. Its almost as if I am being watched lol .. I wouldnt put it past the local narcotics team to use this site to obtain info on us .. Hence I will only accept friend requests from those that are regulars or known by me ..... Safer than sorry .. I would hate to be one of the cats that went to prison from RIU ..

i also forgot to mention earlier that i don't think i've ever sent out but like 3 or 4 requests for friends on here the whole time i've been here.. idk, i just never do for some odd reason, so 99% of the people on my lists have solicited it first...
and the 3 or so people i have sent a request to i'm friends with outside of riu.. :D

I think I only requested one person and that was Uncle Ben. Yea, I didn't realize his grouchy demeanor, just knew him from searches on the internet. I used to pm fdd for opinions and help when I first joined but never friend requested him lol. I don't reject many, but I don't seek many out either. Random ass people with little history sketch me out, you would think they would atleast send a pm saying something.

BTW, emotions are the common bond of us all: although the sensual perception, attached with a certain feeling (emotion,) is unique and individual, we all feel the same short chained peptide(emotion); we just have a different sensual perception attached to it. Find yourself in each other... Or, something to that effect. You know what I'm sayin'?... Maybe not, but I love everyone like they were myself.
