This is my first time with Frisian duck and I absolutely love it. The seed has the best genes not to mention being major inconspicuous. My question is the weather is drastically changing over here and getting really cold at night anyone have any idea how much longer approximately it needs? I would like to give it one more week but I'm afraid it might need two?

I'm not used to purple strains so I'm not as good as you identifying the usual signs..

Would it be worth it to bring it in the evening inside and put some CFL bulbs around it to give it more light to speed it up quicker?

I'd say no, shorter days should help finish.

If it's only cold ( how cold ?), no rain, it's not a problem.

Have trichomes. Veg = about 3 mths, Flow = about 5 wks.
Any advice on when to harvest? They look milky to me, but just noticed them a couple of days ago, so maybe just transparent. No amber. 1st two on same plant, 3rd pic diff. plant.

I'm afraid you are right about the 2 weeks !

however post a pic in a week !

Wonderful plant :)
Here's a close up. Any further thoughts upon seeing this?

The purple tint is confusing me I don't know if that means it's a clear trichomes or the equivalent of an amber trichome in a standard green toned plant.

I would pick it now. I grew Frisian Dew and once it got cold and wet it molded awful. It was a real loss because the plant was doing incredible. I thought the same thing "just one more week" and ended up loosing the plant.

Wet usually comes with the cold, well, at least it does in my neck of the woods. If I had it to do again I wouldn't risk it for another week of growth.

How'd you duck turn out?
I grew it too in southern ca.
It was really dark purple brown and smelled tasted very different.
Just smoked joints of it and made shatter.
Out of three plants, one got ridiculous big.
Would do again despite lower THC count.
A unique stran.
Am trying auto Frisian dew right now from Dutch passions.
Peace
