From 20/4 to 24/0 with my autoflowers

Cool damp weather is forcing me to go to a full time light schedule in order to keep temps up and humidity down in my garage tent.
No room for a heater.

Will this harm my girls? They are at 6 weeks and flowering heavily.
If it warms back up does it harm them to switch back to a 20/4 schedule?
I guess what I am asking is can I vary the lighting like this or will it mess them up?

If you need to do it only for heat humidity reasons, you could make a shade to black the light out during those hours

My LEC gets pretty warm. Not sure I could do that plus having to set it up every light cycle would not work for me.
I'm hoping a 24 cycle won't harm them now at this stage. It might actually increase the yield.

I always ran my autos 24/0 start to finish,i don't think your change from 20/4 to 24/0 is going to hurt them. I used to have issues with temps also but I used T5's or 240w Blackstars and during the winter they didn't throw enuf heat to keep my cab temps at 80f so I bought a small ceramic heater 6"x10" from Walmart and placed it at my cab air intake. Kept temp/humidity in check.

Those plants are beauties for only 6 weeks!

They should be fine. If you really want to be a kind, merciful, god, then add an hour every 2-3 days until you're at 24. I'd just be afraid of one of those fem autos going ladyboy on you if you do it immediately, but this is like worst case scenario.
