From CFL to HPS, DIY ClosetMaid Cabinet Project

Sup......So I'm still on my first grow about 3 weeks into flowering in a pcgrowbox. I got sick and tired of worring about my plant growing into the lights so I finally decided to upgrade to a cabinet and an HPS for a better yield.....
I'll be using the pcgrowbox for veg and the cabinet for flowering....

I was thinking of getting a 150W HPS but then I thought why not get a 250W HPS for like $25 more......Do you all think the 250W HPS will increase the bill by a big percentage?

I'm going to be exhausting hot air from the cabinet up to the attic in the closet....
Small intake holes will be cut towards the bottum of the cab.....

Question on venting......

I'm looking for a more quieter fan but powerful that will pull from a carbon filter with no problems......but at the same time a CHEAP good fan....

I was looking at this
http://www.defender.com/product.jsp?path=-1|6880|46775|732133&id=714123
4" inline blower with CFM @ 235 , for $28.99

looks good?

also how should I run the carbon filter and exhaust???

duct going from top of cabinet > carbon filter > exhaust fan > duct leading to attic
----
Would really appreciate if someone could clear all this up for me...

Thanks....

went ahead and got the 150W HPS with remote ballast from HTGSupply......
for the exhaust I was looking at the Valueline 6 Inch 435 CFM Centrifugal Inline Fan for $79.90 , but still I think thats overkill for the 150w hps....
Probably going to worry about making a DIY carbon filter later.....But anyway can someone recommend a cheaper fan that would get the job done for exhausting? (assuming the valueline 6 inch is too much)

Hey man sweet setup. This sounds real familiar. I have had several cabinet grows now, all of them trying to be as discreet as possible, low noise, power, smell.. All that.
You got a sweet setup going there and you can pull some good harvests under a 150w HPS especially if you have the option of venting into the attic. That will help ya out. I would definitely recommend some kind of aircooled shade or cooltube though. depends how discreet you need to go. Check out my old journel, might help. I think its still in my signature. Haven't been on here in ages but happy to help ya out with anything.

Can you wire that fan? I'm pretty sure it runs on 13.6 volts, 4.3 amps.
