dont have kids if you cant afford them...thats a pretty simple solution if u ask me. dont use that bullshit as an excuse to sell drugs because you are to lazy to work or go look for a job.

Its a 5 gallon bucket..... she was about 5 feet tall. I make minz purple by turning down the temps as low as I can. I try for like 60 degrees or lower;-)

looks good, im done with all the junk.

i think u need to start a grow journal in the grow journal section, with tons of pics.

i still think you should cut 8k to 4k. its just too dangerous. Unless you really really control the heat. And if u decide to do the 8k, keep your lips sealed. Have parties at your friends house and not yours. When u wanna hang out with friends go to the mall or their house or a movie. Keep your house, your secret. Dont tell anyone, you may think they are your best most trusted friends but once they find your growing pounds that may change. Bud can change friends so be careful. I would also cover the room in that IR stuff that hides your grow from the helicopters. and when u sell the stuff, you got it from a different town where you know a grower, you didnt grow it ;)

In addition I think that sometimes we pull our ladies a little too early. FDD2BLK has a thread about harvesting too late. his theory which I hope I can quote is that we should wait to pull our girls. I have never been in a rush. If a plant calls for like 10 weeks flower I may go for 12-14 weeks. I got burned recently with some mold because I waited but the rest of the bud was the bomb.

How do you make your temps that low? are you in a cold place? Or do you have alot of ventilation? I can never get my temps below 70 degrees.

Keep in mind I am running 8kw. I live in a cold place. I have lots of ventilation. I believe that hot stagnate air is the worse in a artificial environment. I read that you must move that air. So I pull my light air through a filter and out. I also move air through the entire room a bunch. I exchange the room air like a bunch a times a hour.


Oh yeah computer fans are ok, however you wanna buy a nice fan and it will pay dividends.

Hm, I heard this has a negative effect on the plants, making them harsher or something, not really sure what it was. Have you noticed any difference in yield/taste/strength/etc by doing this? Would be kinda cool having purple bud that isnt a purple strain, I'm just worried about negative effects.

Also, a huge 8kw grow must be a dream come true. How do you handle the electricity? A standard household room only has 15-30amp circuits, but 8kw would be over 66amps. I ask mostly because I'm facing a similar situation upgrading my lights by about 5x.

I guess as long as you keep an eye on the temps when the lights are off below 59 deg f at night or any time starts to hurt the plant,as for harshness? all the cold does is lock out some nutes so I'd imagine it would smoother no idea though 76 deg is the magic number for me.

I Run 220v/240v whatever they call it. I should have clarified earlier.

So if you run 120v a 1000watt pulls 9-10 amps. if you run 240v it pulls 4.5-5 amps. I use the MLC's from Cap. They are basically a relay and some plugs. You can make one real easy. I dont have the time, so I just order them.

I use a 40 amp "home run" that way I can run 4 1kws and all the other stuff for the room with no worries about the existing house wiring, ie is it old grounded properly and such.

I started with a box that I built "fat salads grow box" and "graduated" to a few rooms. Hence the thred name.

I feel you the cooler the better is my thought. I really do not have a magic number. My temps have been really high and really low 55 I think is the lowest. I kinda like seeing what this amazing wonderful plant will do. it never lets me "down"...:weed:

I have a few new "girls" coming along. I decided to give a germination method FDD2BLK and I spoke about and it seems to be working for me.

I have Destroyer. I plan to give her a try.

My chocolope looks alien.
