from soil to hydro help me

just need info about how to get my plant out of the soi and into the machine of Drip. lol...its really young still...about an inch tall but a lot of leaves and branches already...should i just keep the grow in a pot or pupt it in the system? i currently have tinfoil holding the pot so water soaks up through the pot and holes in the bottom to help it drain out...just need a little advice thanks

If you try to put it in water it will almost 99% chance die. You will need to cut clones off the plant when it gets older and start them off hydroponic. WM

i have soil grow but im gonna clone them then put it in my hydro set up. hopes that help

Yep you are pretty much guaranteed to kill you plant. Take clones

why will the plant die do you think? couldnt i just let it absorb the nutes for a while and transplant it some other time? im not sure why it would get shock can you explain it to me please

Too much shock on the roots the plant is used to growing in soil. Sorry bro just be safe and cut clones.

im not too good at cloning because i tried it before...with basicly every plant i own and it sucks...it doesnt work...well one plant it...its a hot pepper plant...i took out of soil as a youngin and its inside the chamber now doin just fine...well i think its just fine...

in not really sure but u cloud put in plain distill water ar room temp without nutes maybe put the air pump in a small bow and slowy shake off the dirt but i need some one to back this up

yeah, its getting nutes anyways through the bottom because i have the cup (its kinda big) and its not dying so far although i just started it on a drip cycle into the soil

i dont know how to clone without any of that gel stuff...because it is pretty expensive...any way to do it without gel...ive also tried a plastic bag to hold in the moisture to grow roots with a really nice plant that totally snapped off in half...was a sad thing but i tried getting it to grow roots and it just kind of died....:'(

Get some jiffy pellets and clone powder from wal-mart take the cutting dip in water, powder and stick it in the we pellet. Cover with a humidity dome move it to low light mist it daily and in about two weeks you should see roots if all goes well you can buy all this stuff for about $20.

could i use substitutions for the (humidity dome) i can keep heat and moisture inside my added on contraption, but i definatly need rooting stuff...should i get rockwool cubes as well or do i just need one or the other or whats up?

Use jiffy pellets they are cheaper you can use rockwool if you have it just make sure you condition it first. You can use a big tupperware as a humidity dome.

No you can buy powder at wal-mart its the same thing. Works better in my experience.

do i need the powder with the cubes or just put the powder on the end and stick it inside the machine,,,,,could i use a sponge as a replacement do you think?


could you describe as many things that i could do?
1.) transplant my baby to the machine
2.)get it out of the machine with nutes from the machine that is kind of pumping into the bottom of the canister and let it grow and wait to clone it.
3.)get some kind of rooting hormone/gel stuff and put the cutting into the machine/soil/wherever
4.)using a sponge as a substitute put the gel on a cutting and place it inside
5.)just put it inside a rockwool cube or sponge no nutes or gel.
6.)get some rockwool cubes and some hormone, put it into the machine a little deep and see if she grows with nutes or could i wash it out with water.
7.)what do i do with the rockwool cubes and hormone, use good water or use nutes on it.
8.)what is the point of having a hydro machine if im not even going to use it....

sorry for all the questions but i cant get any other seeds started so this is a hope for another grow because i tried cloning my other one didnt work too well, because i didnt have a hydro machine..
