Frost

Plant is in ground, healthy, 4 feet tall, 4 weeks into flowering, had about 3" layer of leaf as mulch in hopes to keep roots warmer. Got down to 28 lastnight for a few hours, starting to warm up now. I decided to not cover her though, in hopes she would take this as a call that winter is coming, and she should hurry along, was this a bad idea? Will this stunt growth? She had a slight bit of frost on her this morning but looks great now that the sun is hitting her. Thanks

If it were me and I knew frost was coming, I would at least try to cover with somthing that the frost will settle on before the plant. 28 is pretty cold brotha and these are strong plants but they can only take so many really cold nights before it damages the plant. Its good that the sun hits them, Hopefully the sun gets on them first thing in the am. Good luck brotha i think youll be in good shape as long as you keep up with it!

Go get the solar covers at lowes or home depot, they keep them the warmest. If you cant get those get burlap sacks for them for the night time
