Frosted plant come back

I have a plant (SS) who's leaves got frost burnt. I cut off all the damage and the plant has grown back but it has abnormal leaf growth. Over the past few days there have been small leaves covered in crystals popping out. I was worried that it became a hermaphrodite but I really can't tell. There aren't any diffinitive male looking parts and it still has a few pistils.
It's an outdoor grow in dirt. Any ideas?

I think the internodes look like after you top a plant. Possibly they reacted like they were topped, but threw out flowers instead of grow tips because of the spring light cycle. Just a guess, i am not really sure. What i do know is my frost bitten plants have survived, but those poor flowers. Spring frost is way better than fall frost, imo. Also when i've stressed my plants i have gotten unmistakable pollen balls. Nice work by the way!

I'm really hoping to get something usable off of the plants I planted in late fall. Here is a pic of one of the other ones that survived the frost.

Thats looking really good. I wouldn't worry at all about any of them. They all look so nice, the roots and soil have to be good. If they took any damage those healthy roots will bring it back fast. You are smart to look closely after a hard stress. Keeping an eye out for pollen balls probably isnt a bad idea. But after a few days any stress should show itself. If its not a definate pollen ball dont worry. Even if you found one, that doesnt mean you"ll necessarilly get seeds or very many seeds for that matter. That last picture looks super dank. Nice work getting in a winter crop too.

Ive been thinking about those frost bitten girls. It got me wondering, if it caused flowers to form at some internodes where there werent any before, maybe it would increase yield by adding extra flowers. Or maybe yield weight would be the same, it would just be distributed over the new flowers causing the rest of the flowers to be slightly smaller. Either way its definetly a opportunity to learn something new. If you have time, let me know how they are doing.

I'm curious to see what happens. They are doing fine right now. I know some people stress their plants on purpose to effect the yield and potency. I'll keep you posted as they change.

Cool. Harvest pics are always sweet. Its nice to be learning things too. I could never do that where i live at 42.5 degrees north. The frost is always at the very end.
