Frostier buds with blurple mix with sunlike light ?

I’ve read that adding a blurple light to your sun like light will increase trichome production . Something to do with uv receptors? Has anyone done this and had proven results ? Plan on giving it a go. My set up is 4 Mars hydro ts1000 (150w) x4=600 w
And then the blurple will be a no name blurple with an advertisement of 1200 watts and 213watts at the wall. So 813watts in a 4x4 puts me at 50.8 watts per sq ft . This should be adequate lighting correct ? And the blurple should increase trichome production? Thanks in advance and happy smoking ! Currently enjoying some humble pie lol

Exactly lol stoner moment late last night . Would you happen to know what kind of light I could find to accompany my set up for this ? I ditched the blurple I ordered . So my budget would be between 80-100$ . Thanks for the help

I have a California lightworks solarforce uvb. It's a 2 foot florescent. Runs around 100$ and has a built in reflector. Stay away from reptile lights. They don't put out enough uvb. There is another company that also sells florescent bulbs in 2 and 4 feet. Can't think of the name though.

I made another post and someone mentioned that same light I believe . I’m gonna go ahead and order it tomorrow . It claims in two days to show more resin/trics production . So I’ll take some pictures before I turn it on when the time comes and post the results . I’m still a long way from using it . Still have another month of veg before even switching to flower so . Just getting everything together . Lol
