Frosty Males

Here's a few shots of the males I just used for pollination.

They are nicely frosty, and smell beautiful when you touch them. Amazingly the sugar leaf will get you quite high if you make hash from enough of it.

Plants are not hermaphrodites. The males are from the 4th back cross to the Wonder Thunderstruck clone.

This cubing was taken to the 6th back cross. Plants were at their zeneth at the 4th back cross.

One of the interesting crosses in this set of pollinating. Was a cross to a female Dinafem Shark Attack. I pollinated Dinafem's Blue Hash last round with another 4th back cross male, that I named "Sweet". It had that sweet Cinderella pineapple suntan lotion scent that I liked.

002.jpg Freshly pollinated shark Attack, pollinated with a 4th back cross wonder male. You can still see some of the pollen sacs sitting on the leaves.

It's rather odd, my wonder males actually look more frosty then the Shark Attack. The Wonder line is known for having a very speedy flowering time, copius amounts of resin, and unbeatable quality. With special mention for best and most exreme flavor.

Combining Dinafem and Wonder, looks like a winner so far. But unlike most people, I always submit to true results though rather then speculation.

A pic of a whole plant of what? The Shark Attack? Yeah the shark attack has resin. It's not exceptionally resinus though, just about average.

My point is how frosty the males are, not how unfrosty shark attack is

*Exceptionally resiny strains usually have have frost on the outter leaf, sometimes the fan leaves are even covered. My shark attack doesn't qualify in that catagory. But heavy resin isn't the last word on a strain, it just gives you a good value for you money, as oils burn slower then veg matter.

004.jpg Here's more of the Shark Attack if your interested. But as far as resin goes it looks worse then the first pic. That's why I put the first pic in, so you could see the resin, as it wasn't copius. And the wonder males obviously have a extreme gene for resin, as the Wonder females turn out super frosty just like the males do.

When they put Cinderella 99.25 together with Wonderbud (which created the Thunderstruck clone), it became a resin taste monster of the highest order.

The frosty males are the 4th back cross to the thunderstruck clone.

Thanks, I'm glad you like the pictures :)

Both the 2nd back cross picture, and the Shark Attack pics, were flowered under fluroscent lighting. My fluro system allows for more resin, and the glands structure are more stalked. The only draw back is yield. It's pretty hard to grow commercially with fluros.

But you can do pretty well with them. This picture is of a female about 2 weeks from maturity. And I didn't even have one of the bigger 200 watt fluros at the time. I am now going to be using 3 of them in addition to the other fluros.

(This 2nd back cross plant^ was grown in soil not hydro of any type)
