frozen trimmings

ok, from my previous harvest, i had 330g of trim. i never dried the trim, placed straight into freezer and has been sitting there for 6 months.

my question is, will this be ok to go with the trim from my next harvest (into bubble bags, recently purchased).

a further question is do people actually dry out there trim, and what is the best method of storing trim?, keeping it in cureing jars seems a bit much. any help is appreciated and im very liberal with the +rep buttin lol :fire:

pretty sure freezing wet weed is fine, using the bag method, you want the scuff to be a little moist, too dry and it will contaminate your product, what I do, is add new trim to old, to cure the older scuff. For a 5 gallon setup I wouldnt suggest anything more than 250 grams

You'll be fine mixing them, I mix my trim. I also freeze mine too, as far as drying the trim I never have and I don't see how it could be beneficial to you

I've always dried the trim before I made bubble hash then I freeze it for a couple hours before I start the hash making. I crush up the trim with my hands and pull out the hard pieces before putting it into the bags with the ice and watter. As far as what Res Kush says he is right the hash turnes out a little grainy and hard to press into hash but it still gets ya high and you get alot more.so if ya want lots of o.k. hash try my way or if your a connisure and want just a little nice piece go with what they say.when pressing your newly made hash a little heat goes a long way.I roll and press it on a plate on a stove elliment on low,if the plate is too hot to touchthen its too hot for the hash . Good luck friend

I'd think if you crush up the dry trim it's just gonna make more work for you to get it all out after, messier. Also you may get more but your only the gettin dry crumbled leaves extra that you cant scoop out of there which adds nothing to it. It will only make the smoke harsher, no more THC, actually you'll get less because when you crush it with your hands your rubbing off some of the trichs.
Another way to make it once you have it all drained n dry, place in between 2 pieces of cellophane, then place over top 2 pieces of damp newspaper and iron it, you can make a nice little block of hash. It's up to u but i'd rather smoke less, smoother, better hash than smoke more harsher. Or smoke more smoother n get really high lol. Have a good one

i wasnt thinking about pressing it, but that seems like a good idea, could you just leave it as it is on the pressing mat, fresh of the spoon, when its all dry just stick it in my baki tin
