As a myth i have heard around the area is would putting orange peels and fruit stuff in the soil as a way of compost during the process of a plant growing in essence giving the buds a fruity taste???? i believe it is false because their are strains out their that taste fruity already.... I just want to know if anyone else have heard this and your opinions on it or if you have tried it and was it success or fail??? =) Keep it green fellas:weed:

Hmm, that seems to me like it would be a huge invite for pesky bugs and other unwanted critters. I've heard of putting a fruit peel in a bag of already dried and cured weed to help re moisten it and help with flavor but I don't think I would put it in the soil while the plant was growing.

I did it last year i put an apple an orange a bannana and a grapefruit. It was my first grw so i dont know if it affected the buds but they seemed to have a grapefruity essence. But it mainly made the ground smell good

yeah see that is what i thought like fruit gnats and crap/mites yeah the peel in the bag of dried weed works and tastes good, especially when you have some dirt you dont want to smoke but decide to anyways, i just heard the rumor, makes good compost when its done though but i dont think the plant can suck up sucrose through the roots into the buds and giving the buds a fruit punch taste rofl.
