ive heard of people using a cup of natural UNSWEETENED apple juice per gallon of water during flower and flush. never heard of someone using straight juice though. it has to be natural, unsweetened, 100% juice though from what ive heard.

I would not put any juice in the water. If you want your joint to taste a flavor then cure it with what you want! I cure some with a mango blunt paper for a week... comes out awesome!

its not about making your herb taste like apple juice. its providing your plant with sugars and carbohydrates it can easily use. your not gonna get apple weed just like you dont end up with mollasses weed when you use mollasses. thats why its not just for flushing, i use mollasses throuout flowering and even just a bit in veg.

best thing is Citrus Sweet or Berry Sweet by Botanicare. used throughout all stages. excellent imporvement in density and yield. slightly fruity taste. maybe. great stuff. would swear by it. great for hydro users who cant use molasses.

lot of those carbo-sweetener additives like botanicare's sweet are basically mollasses and apple juice. theres sandalwood extract in a few and some other ingredients, but getting juice or mollasses is cheaper.

Good to know. I'll have to try it. You can get natural applejuice(whole pressed apples) from Trader joes in the refridgerator aisle. Has to be refridgerated kind otherwise its not real and made from concentrate. Its cheap like 3.80 for half gallon

again, you cant use Molasses or juice or anything like that in hydro. reread the post. this is the Hydro/Aero forum. not soil. so no, he cant simply use cheap molasses or fruit juice. besides, anyting added the last week or so will have zero to little effect. needs to be used the entire cycle to see noticable differences.

i run hydro...with mollasses in it the ENTIRE cycle(read back, i advise using it throuout the entire cycle). it doesnt work well in drip emiters or sprayers. but here are several hydro methods that is most certainly does work well in. i personally think when you use it with hydro your less prone to get the bugs alot of people associate with mollasses and juice.

The whole point of flushing is to have your plant use the nutes and sugars it has in it so you don't get a harsh taste later. Your fan leaves will start to look like crap after the first week but that is because your plant is using the sugars stored in them to finish budding. I would stick with straigt water.
