A lot of people make their living on tips, and when people don't tip, its a serious "Fuck You" :sad:

Anyone who earns tips for a living feel free to post what you do to non tippers.

I was a bartender back in the 90's.
I agree fuck those that don't tip.
No stories of vengeance as working in an airport made it difficult. Very few regulars.

I remember my mother gave a woman a .98 cent tip once. She was a horrible waitress though. If you suck...you aren't getting shit. If you're good and attentive you'll be rewarded. Gratuity isn't something you're entitled to. You have to earn that shit. That's what it's called gratuity.

Last time I went out to eat, I had 2 cents left over after my bill. Not enough to tip.. kind of an insult. so I just left, I feel bad for it. But, of course I was only there for all of 5, 10 minutes at most. Nice waitress, just not enough money in my pockets.. guess I should have stayed at home and nom'd a sammich.

tottaly agree, my moms a server and she busts her ass at work and she gets these ppl who run her all around for stupid shit like water to wash their silverware with and they order water with lemon b/c theyre too cheap to buy a drink and then leave like a 2dollar tip on a 100 dollar check

and another thing havnt ppl learned not to mess with the people who make or serve ur food b/c there r countless things that they could do to it

in kona i took my family to a nice italian recteraunt and when we were done i asked for 2 piza box's for the leftover pizza.when i opened the boxes there were roaches in both box's. so i said thats gonna hurt your tip, the waiter just smiled. when i went to pay i found out the tip comes out automaticly, i was pissed!a couple of phone calls later the resteraunt manager was in the unemployment line. its good to have freinds. my wife and both daughters have all waited tables so i am a good tipper normally but roaches in the pizza box? sry but i have my limits. people who say things like "you never know what they will do to your food reminds me of how much better home cooking is.

its not really a "fuck you" your already getting paid by your boss. your not a charity so why would i give a waiter money for doing his job when random people dont give me money for doing mine

Exactly. You control what's going into my body so it's in my best bet to be nice. It's a restaurant my folks frequent alot. Nice upscale Italian place. They get the same waiter every single time, and they tip 100% of there bill. Why? Because he serves my parents like there his own family.

Totaly agree with this i dont mind tipping if they are truly great at there job and also dont be giving out about your tips if you dont like it get a new job :leaf:

Spitting on food you are preparing in a restaurant is illegal. Not tipping is just... socially immoral, I guess in a small way.

If I found dirt, spit, hair, any kind of filth on my food I would return it, not pay, and leave and tell my friends not to visit the restaurant. They lose business. I wouldn't go as far as to file suit against them, it would be too time consuming.

because usually ppl who recieve tips only get like half of what minimum wage is
i.e. in ohio its like 3.75 if u make tips sooo im assuming you make more than that. these ppl rely on gratuity and i agree if you do give terrible service you shouldnt get a tip but if u get good service and dont tip, expect a little poo on ur silverware next time

I guess I wouldn't.. but I don't eat with silverware at this restaurant so I wouldn't have to worry about that. I always dissect my burger before I eat it, anywhere. And if someone wants to spend their time forking their ass, let them. They'll look real professional ;-)

It IS a fuck you...and you sound like the ignorant kind of mfer that I hate to come into my restaurant.....We DON'T get paid by our boss....I get 2.13 an hour like every other server, and my paychecks are for zero dollars like every other server's.....after taxes....Tips are the only way we make money...in fact, I have to pay the restaurant about 4.50 for every 100 bucks YOU spend, so if you think that I like to PAY to wait on you and put up with your bullshit for nothing, you're a fucking moron...Karma IS a motherfucker.....

yea and if u spend an hour in a resturaunt and dont tip at all it actually costs the server money for u to sit on ur cheap ass and stuff ur face
