I just want to thank the 267 people that looked at my post "HELP! Dying plant. Purple stems yellow droopy leaves in DWC" and said nothing.(You have "inspired" me to say fuck hydroponics and all of the money i spent on it and went out and bought a bag of soil)
One single fucking person tried to help, and his advice wasn't even applicable.

So I'm done with this stupid lazy fucking site. It seems as if no one is willing to give advice anymore and rollitup is not the helpful place it used to be. SO FTW ,but first, fuck Rollitup. Peace

So its other peoples fault that you couldnt help yourself? Did you search other sites? Did you buy and read a how to book? Did you search for videos on youtube? RIU doesnt like grabasticators that expect to be served.

Man you're a dick. I feel for ya about no one answering your question, but this is no way to go about it. You were just underfeeding your plants. That's what STARVING plants look like.

I'm sorry that no one helped you straight away in your thread, hopefully you're just venting some frustration because your decisions are all a bit rash.

Having a little trouble with hydro on my first go around, leaves aren't looking so good and the plant doesn't look healthy.

Option 1 Post a thread on an MJ growing forum and see if I can find someone nice enough to help me out with this.

Option 2 Google "yellowing leaves" and "purple stems" and try to learn as much as I can about this. I could even see if there are books available that could help me in my quest for knowledge. Why, yes, there are books, great. I should seek as much info about Marijuana horticulture as well as hydroponics as possible.

But failing the FIRST option you decided, fuck the forums and fuck hydroponics altogether? Just seems a bit rash, now through this experience you've gained and learned nothing. All you got was frustration and you still don't know how to grow using hydroponics. I hope for your family's (or future family's) sake you typically take more time thinking through your moves and what you are trying to achieve.

Good luck...And they were very nice lookin' plants, they just needed food.

Lol i've had times where NO ONE RESPONDED, but you know what you do? Since your supposed to be over the age of 18 to be on this site in the first place, you should have a certain level of maturity and realize that maybe the people who are able to help maybe are not online. Instead of getting so upset, why not just BUMP your thread, or make another one in a more viewed section like general MJ growing. Did you stop and think that maybe the people who could help you maybe weren't online or were helping some other frustrated newbie with their problem? thank you all for making my point entirely. everyone loves to be on this site to bash other stoners and talk shit and show off but no one wants to help people. I posted over 5 times and didnt get more than 10 responses, and all that happened was people tried to steal my posts. this type of slander was exactly what i expected from this site, and is in turn my reason for leaving.

and for the record, i own multiple books and movies on marijuana growing, have searched and searched everywhere i could for answers. found all the information and absorbed all i could,

Laserbrn. they are not starved, thats simply impossible. they were fed correctly but could not absorb the nutrients idk why. and yes. i was just venting alot of steam because i have four beautiful plants in soil but 2 that were in hydro (now in soil) that made me wanna cry. i have to say fuck hydro because
1. i will not kill a plant
2. i couldnt find what was wrong with mine online
3. i have no direction. you dont even understand how much research ive done into hydroponics, only to fail miserably at the actual performance

if they are not starved, but do not seem to absorb the nutrients it is probably because of the pH/nutrient lockout. which is something you would have known had you looked it up in google.
