My exhusband had a store front place that got some sort of virus or something on their Credit Card machine...so when you ran your card someone was able to then keep charging it for all manner of online and international purchases...
The store refused to pay for the mistakes, at first...
So it isn't just online we need to worry about such things. I had never heard of a store front hijacking information before that one time...But they did...They later put up a notice telling people what had happened and what they were doing to fix it... It just pisses me off that right at first they were sure it wasn't their fault..that the credit machine was acting funny and that is all...it was acting funny because it was stealing all your customer's information .

I figure the whole thing doesn't matter all that much..I mean no money is actually gone forever, it is a minor annoyance, but I feel like battling fraud purchases is just a big part of having a credit/debit card..
The cost of business I guess...You use a card, people will try to steal your info...I mean think how much easier it is to online mug someone...? I mean we all know about the internet tough guys...so just remember them when you use your card...there is an internet mugger out there just waiting to hold you up and take your monies.

Sorry to hear about this racer. At least ya got to it before anything real bad happened.

That being said this can happen to anyone using a credit card (or any other form of payment) online with any company. It certainly isn't/wasn't Attitude's fault.

The best thing you can do it keep an eye on your statement and nip shit in the bud before it gets out of hand. Of course anyone with a credit card company worth a damn is going to notify you of weird activity on your card anyway.

i will gladly report back what they say if they reply.. this is not looking too good for the tude, and i'll never use them again, eff that, which is a complete shame as i was a huge supporter of theirs, but this is complete horseshit, and sorry for doubting anyone who has similar problems after ordering from the tude..
So what did they reply to U?

Attitude respond me immediately as soon I emailed them, so this is for me a good sign...explaine in detail all the procedure, so I guess nothing wrong with them. So I guess I'll continue dealing with them. Yes it's true I don't like their attitude but still remains the biggest seedbank in the world.

hey, go ahead and use them, all i'm trying to do is be a good person and warn others what happened to me.. that's all i can do... others have had similar problems in the past, and i never believed them..

like i said, haven't used my card in weeks and weeks, used it at the tude and the very next day my bank calls me.. idk if the problem is with sage payment or what, but i'm not taking any chances..
if you enjoy running to the bank and having to withdrawal all of your cash and dealing with the customer service, be my guest.. nothing i can say will change anyone's mind..

there was never a bigger lover of the tude then me.. i used them probably more then a lot of members here combined, but does that make me over look the fact that the day after i used my card online with them my shit got jacked?? i'm no fool, no matter what they try and tell me..

yah, their response was they never get my card number, it's all sage pay, so maybe that's where my problem lies, but guess what?? that's who the tude uses to process their cards with, so unless that changes, i'm audi 5000...

i guess you're right missnu, it's just that this is the first time it's happened to me after ordering from the tude.. just kind of sucks as i am a huge seed whore and love ordering my seeds...
for me its not worth it, why take the risk when there are other places that sell gear and whom i haven't had a call from my bank from right after using my card there..
yes, there are many online thieves out there waiting to rip us off, but it should be an online stores business to make sure their customers are safe imho.. i they can't protect their customers sensitive info, than somewhere else surely will..
again, just my $.02

Hey RB long time essay!
Your not the only one, it's jacked up because like mentioned its actually sage pay. It should be mentioned that is who SoS uses also. Probably others as well.
Perhaps they will stop using that payment service.......

This is not a fraud question but I am not real pleased at the moment either. I tried to get them to reimburse my 10 tangerine dream seeds that not 1 germinated. I did not use this terminolgy cause they specifically say not too. So I told them all 10 were damaged, they replied back and said to take a pic of them and send back. I took a pic of the seeds outside the pakage. They replied back that they couldnt reimburse me because they had been removed from package. My question is: how could you not take them out of the packaging to even check for damages but the real issue is that they didnt germ at all! 0-10. Has anyone ever got them to send more for bad beans? I replied back with my disgust and all they offered was for me to buy more and they would throw in freebies.
Same problem...Got 10 seeds plus freebies from Attitude and not 1 seed geminated. Snowy fruit seeds were dated nov 26 2009. sucks $200 out the window? Can you cancel your Credit card because you received defective product?

..and sorry for doubting anyone who has similar problems after ordering from the tude..

Thanks for throwing that line in there man, I really appreciate it.
I had a similar incident with the Attitude a couple of years ago, I brought it up in some threads to warn others, and everybody said I was just a hater or trolling.
I had been a happy Tude customer for well over a year when shit happened with my credit card.
I emailed them about it and all I received back was a form letter saying "how sorry they were and that it would never happen again".
No extra discount on my next order, no freebies, nothing to try and keep me as a paying customer, just bullshit.
So here we are years later and the same type of CC problems are still happening, so there is only one conclusion I can come to, the Tude is in on it.
There is no way that the same type of CC fraud is linked to the same site for so many years without everybody being in cahoots.
I would hazard to guess that the Tude sells off personal customer info, CC numbers and all, and then plays dumb when confronted with the facts.
They're like a lying girlfriend, you never would have thought she was cheating on you, until you walk in on her and see it for yourself.
Learning the hard way sucks, but is one of those necessary things in life sometimes.
Back to my original point though, thanks for being man enough to own up to your past mistake :)

Sea of Seeds also uses Sage Pay. Yet I have not heard of anyone as of yet having problems with their credit cards on there. Anyone heard of fraud on Sea Of Seeds? If so it's Sage Pay, if not it's the Atittude.

attitude is known to take in 200,000+ orders every year - some of them for large amounts on vast accounts - this makes them a perfect target for your average garden variety thieves.. what does someone as high profile as attitude need with your credit card?

imagine if amazon.com operated in a grey market dealing with weapons smugglers having no recourse besides a shady third party bank system.. they would start to get rip offs hanging around for the same trickle-down effect..

e.g. - you should not complain that Attitude or Sagepay stole your money - i highly suspect that a thief stole your money..

What you said makes sense, but you forgot to take one thing into account when making your analogy.
The Attitude already deals in the grey market by selling illegal seeds, which nullifies your point.
