hey, just curious what kind of hood you use? Any hood at all? What was the damage like also on another note. Ever wonder what the hood situation has to do with bulbs. Then again luck sucks all around these days

sadly yes.... desk lamp with a 23w cfl and a non-removable lampshade...... they got damn near NO light for the last 9-10 days!!

not sure what brand.... it was ordered from htg as well, but its an enclosed 6in inline air cooled, hooked up with a 180cfm inline and carbon filter..... dont really see what the heck the reflector has to do with blowing bulbs.... if you could please elaborate a lil.....

I think it has something to do with my old ass house/wiring..... or maybe THIS time it was because i had the dimmable lumatek set on "super lumens" for about 2months..... I dunno, but there IS light now, and i have my reciept for the one year warranty

better get 2 jus to make sure !!! CYA bro!!

befor you start your next grow get a back up bulb. on my first grow my timer screwed up sent my plant in to flower. the bright side was i found out i had a female plant. so now i keep a back up timer. still need to order my back up bulb for my set up. always have a back up. you do that with your dates.

when i bought this (the one that burned out) bulb, i didnt have the finances to get a backup.... and now, I'll be harvesting in just a few weeks, and want to get a mh conversion bulb for the next veg which will be starting very soon
