Narcs?.. What it comes down to is knowing what to say, and what not to say.. This is simply freedom of speech.. Just don't do anything considered "Stupid" and there should be no problems.. As for irl.. I only share my projects with 2 friends.. Of course I have many friends involved with smoking bud, but you have to know who you can trust.. and who isnt a filthy beggar.. or a narc..

they would have to spend so much more money on the war on drugs to find website and bust people and then it would make the government look bad because the internet is the only place we still have freedom of speech. Pretty much just don't say where r when you r doing something illgal, but i just don't give a f@#$ uncle sam come and bust me jk, haha

They don't have to actively have some guy watching every site while sipping his coffee- they can just hunt the sites down via searching for key words and flag them so logs can be obtained via subpoena if needed down the road.Weekly browses looking for large grows... who knows- I bet there are more ppl being paid to do that than any of us could imagine.

It would be fairly easy to get IP addresses and track people down. I still get a little nervous that a site like this could eventually be subject to a subpoena /raid and cause a one time mass bust. Kinda like when they tried to stop music piracy by busting 10 of 10,000,000,000 people stealing songs just to send a message.
I'm a newb to this plant growing hobby but have extended mycology experience growing fungus and have been on certain grow forums for years. I have always been skeptical but have never heard of anyone getting busted because they posted at a forum. Though I have heard of people getting further busted due to forum posts found on seized computers.

This thread is kinda funny, because I think WidowMaker's 'how to grow marijuana' thread had a whole section on avoiding trouble.
As much as it is illegal in many countries/states to grow the green, no one is going to bother expending large amounts of energy and resources tracking down some kid who grew a couple of plants in his closet.
People who grow a lot more obviously need to be more cautious.
