too late, the storm is already here. the sky opened up in the middle of the night with toretial down pours. my plants are in trees so i wouldnt be able to effectivly cover them anyway. they should have some protection from the trees (i hope).

wathch the weather channel periodically, they warn u of these storms days in advance, and its not a bad idea knowing what weather and temps u got comin

This is the 50 year old single parent coming out in my but get ready, water, fill tubs, have non perishable food for at least a week, charge cell phones, medicine, first aide kit, talk to neighbors and have a plan to check up on each other after the storm passes. Fire ext handy, generator if you have one start it up and make sure it has gas and you have an extra gas can.

Dont look and say oh a cat one no big deal, hail and tornados flare up and will wipe you up in a minute. And if you can get the heck out of there period go visit a relative or friend but be careful.
