Day 41 Flowering.

Now some C9 shots. She was cropped as well. She's nearly as tall as the reflector and on the edge of the tent, so I bent her inwards towards the light.

Her mag deficiency would appear to be worsening after comparing pictures from day 29 and day 41. Ill test her fun-off tomorrow and see what it is.

Day 41 Flowering.

A few shots of Chunkies now. She doesn't look like a happy camper in the first pic. Definitely a thirsty girl. Most of all my ladies got 40-64 ounces of water today. The Ed's, and bagseeds get half that.

IMG_0609.jpgIMG_0610.jpgIMG_0611.jpgIMG_0633.jpg

Now some larf shots from about mid point on the plant. No way im cutting that off. I think Id prefer to have it to smoke later on. MmMMmm yummy.

IMG_0615.jpgIMG_0612.jpgIMG_0617.jpg

Heres the slow flowering Chunky X. Looks alot healthier than her sisters.

A few shots of a Skunk Haze E clone thats out of control. She's putting on an at least an inch a day. She's so tall I had to take two pics just to show her all! I ended up cutting her in half and made a new clone out of her top.

IMG_0637.jpgIMG_0639.jpgIMG_0636.jpgIMG_0652.jpgIMG_0653.jpgIMG_0655.jpgIMG_0656.jpg

I like it when my ladies are flexible..

IMG_0672.jpg

Woops. I found a full pic of this tall lady.

IMG_0640.jpg

The clones are starting to look a bit better under the MH. Ill give em a bit longer before deciding on changing the bulb.

Got a few pics of JTRB. She's beginning to fatten up nicely. The first picture is from Day 34.

*Originally wrote it was C. I got things backwards.

The rest are day 42.

I am so fucking stoked right now. For months now I have wanted to get my hands on some of Afropips Durban Poison. Ive had an itch to grow some African genetics for awhile now. But Attitude and every other seedbank has been sold out for many months now. Then recently it showed in stock again, and I contacted support, and I was informed there was only one pack! Somehow it must have been lost all this time and they finally located it. They said they wont be able to get any more in stock. Even the Breeder is sold out!

There is one seedbank that shows it in stock, but their customer support has gone to the shitter lately(vu-du.com) so I didn't want to risk an order with them.

Now, they are officially sold out, as I got the only pack. Next up, Ill need to get some of his Malawi Gold, and give em both a run next run along with the LemonGrass Thai X Deep Chunk, and more Skunk Haze beans(10 more).

Id also like to get something with a heavier yield. Maybe Critical Mass or Critical Haze by Mr. Nice. CH is 25% haze, but still produces donkey dicks of sizable proportions. Ive always wanted to grow out some of his gear.

Too many strains, and not enough space to grow them all :(.

Good work on the Afropips.

Malawi Gold is some of the Best, Clean Smoke I've ever had.

I'm eyeing off some Critical Mass aswell, but supposedly not the most resinous stuff. Look into the Critical 47. Peachy Aroma apparently. Did my last PM come through ok?

Ill take a look at the Critical 47. A buddy has wanted to smoke AK 47, but Im sure he'd enjoy a hybrid too. Which breeder is it?

Day 43 flowering.

Got a few pics of the SkunkHaze who had gotten some bleaching. The green is beginning to return. She's no longer a pale yellow.

It will be quite awhile before she fattens up. Her trichs are mostly cloudy. 80/20 It looks like, with no amber.

IMG_0691.jpgIMG_0693.jpgIMG_0694.jpg

Among them, one has a musky smell. Its not very pleasant to the nose. If you smell it once, it doesn't bother you too much, but you never really want to smell it ever again. It could be the catpiss pheno I have read about. Anyone up for some weed that smells like catpiss?

Another one has a light fruity smell. I can't discern anything beyond that.

The last one really has no smell yet.

Now a few pics of the fastest flowering among the remaining bagseeds. It too smells like bubblegum, but not as strong as DoubleBubble. They're not from the same seeds afaik, but it could be possible. Hopefully she produces better than DB. Ill probably only get 14 grams off DB when she's pulled in 5 days or so. She sorta just petered out after a fast start. She blew her wad too quickly. Enough about her. Onto pics of my best looking plant. She's very healthy from top to bottom. I can't remember the last time a leaf even fell from her. Now if I could only learn to do this with all my plants..

Hope you all enjoy the next sequence of pics. If anyone else besides me enjoys them, let me know. Ill do it for other plants.

Here you go dude, here is the Critical #47.
Thanks for the link. Im disappointed its a fem seed. I dont grow them unless its a freebie. Plus its 13 pounds for 1 seed! Thats way outside of my price range :). I think Ill probably go with Critical Haze. 18 seeds for 70 pounds. I get to make f2's, and Ill finally get to grow out some Mr. Nice gear. Of course, Ill probably change my mind about what I want to grow as usual :).

No pics tonight, but a few updates.

I have topped all my larger clones, and am using the tops as new clones.

JTR B & C, 3rd D, C9, SHD, CCX & CCB. 7 new cuttings taken. Should be rooted in two weeks if all goes well. I reckon about that time the original chunky cindies will close to finishing. No more than 4 weeks from the grows Ive seen. Then Ill have the room to move the first set of clones into flower, and keep these ones as potential moms. Although some are already nixed off the list at this point. C9, JTR C, 3rd D all heal slowly after being cropped. Skunk haze can take rougher croppings and still not miss a beat. I cropped a lower branch on the other JTR to see how she heals. I have no clue about the Chunky Cindies or Satori. Ill probably crop a lower branch on them tomorrow and see how they respond. Im not excited about keeping a Satori mom either. The quadfoliate cola is super leafy. The trifoliate cola isn't so leafy. I wonder how the clone will turn out? I can't recall which cola the clone came from. Makes me wonder how the clone will be. Surprises, surprises.

I think I discovered a big problem tonight. As I was examining the plants, I could see differences in leaf health on different sides of plants. Leaves that were on the dark side were healthiest. Lush and beautiful green. But on the side closest to the lights, the leaves were chlorotic. Some just a pale green. Others with looking like magnesium deficiency.

I think I have been bleaching my plants all this time! The magnesium deficiency either really hid the problem from me, or there was no mag deficiency, and it was bleaching all this time. Either way, I had to get those lights higher.

It wasn't easy, but I managed to use zip ties to fasten them to the top support poles. That gave me another 6 inches of height. Plants are now 21 inches below the light bulb, as opposed to 15 inches.

The canopy of the Chunky Cindies looks awful. Severe mag looking deficiency symptoms all around except for one. They are right under the lights too. Even the Satori has began to show some problems. Before she was basically covered up by a Skunk Haze and looked great. I had recently moved her more into the light, and thats when her problems began.

The symptoms go in a big circle around the tent. Plants on the far edges of the left and right were great looking(ED's and bagseed) The darkside of the skunk hazes on the right look great. Its everything in between them has problems.

Hopefully things begin to look better soon, but the damage has been done. Just another lesson learned.

I should have some harvest pics of the DB soon. Ill probably take her about day 50.

looking better as time goes by great job bro i like your set ups
Thanks. Im hoping to change things up alot in a few months. I need more space for my ladies, as well as for starting more seeds(f2's), but I may be able to have the room to do all I want to do soon.

I can't wait for summer to be over. I can't stand 90+ temps every single day. The ladies will be much happier too.

Gosh, we are praying for summer here Dave!!! Its so cold here at the moment, and because we are not far enough above sea level, it rarely snows here.... So no winter fun unless you want to travel for it... I can control the ridiculous heat in summer here with Air conditioning... :-) Laceygirl...

Ill give you some of my heat if you give me some of your cold. Hopefully it'll be cool this fall.

Thinking of fall, I better get my soil needs met for the fall/winter indoor season. It wouldn't be easy to get soil in winter, and if I do get it, Ill be looked at funnily.

Got some pics of the 'Purp' males flowering. Well only one really. The fast flowering one is the only one to show anything interesting.

This guy went into the flower tent on the 5th, and now he's already dropping pollen. Talk about a minute man. He'll probably be done finishing before the ladies even are ready to be pollinated. I forgot about the two week rule. Oops. Ill just have to collect his dust and manually pollinate with a q-tip.

First few are from the 11th.

IMG_0648.jpgIMG_0643.jpg

And now the 15th.

IMG_0703.jpgIMG_0741.jpg

Still dont know if fast flowering males are desirable or not. Gonna have to do some more reading.

Now for some Chunky Cindie comparison shots. Here come the donkey dicks..lol j/k :-| They have put on some weight in the last 8 days. Im hoping they'll keep packing it on up until harvest, but not as likely with those fan leaves looking so awful :(.

You can really see how the mag deficiency, and or light bleaching has affected the fan leaves. I foliar fed a chelated magnesium 4 days or so ago. Or at least I think it was Mag. I just looked at my other packet, and it said it was Calcium. I dont remember ordering Calcium.. I think I still have the empty bag in the grow room. Ill have to check it tomorrow to see if I really foliar fed Calcium or Mag. Grr.

Day 37 vs Day 45.

Now for another Cindy that is underneath the Ushio. Its pretty easy to tell she is frostier than the other, but can't say its the light doing it. Could just be genetics.

Now for a few shots of 'Purp' B female.

These are a lower cola that isn't as dominant as the main one. The leaves are perfectly healthy, and they are on the side furthest from the lights, and probably a foot below the canopy. The top of her looks just as bad as most of the Chunky Cindies. Stupid bleaching.
