Here is one of my latest grows i am no pro just read alot so take what you want and leave the rest i guess lol. although i have had some success, ive never had a bad crop anyway. ok pictures i have them to support this story but then id have to cut my wifes face off of all the pics then arrange them into the journal i guess if you wanna call bs i could up some lol but i dont really care i have nothing to prove just trying to share what works. ive read alot of journal which are great but not alot go back and add info after they grew i did in this one denoted by a ** in every case but this grow in particular had a problem that came up and dealing with it became part of this so you can see it is part of the process lol no matter how long your at this you can still miss things and your never perfect so i always push my comfort zone with growing so i constantly am learning and not forgetting near as much. ok its long sorry for that it was mostly for my wife as i am sick and rely on this crop coming in as medicine so she doesnt miss things i am very particular in some places it is intentional and not because i think anyone is dumb just didnt want to throw someone who knows nothing to the wolves and expect good results so she was forced to read this weekly during that grow lol. hope you like it. and enjoy no spell-check hahaha

May 17th 2013 seeds have arrived and will now start germination takes up to 3 days at times so give them time.. during this time go thru all your favorite bookmarks for weed tips and all the notes youve taken. what follow is loose notes learned during or over the course of growing or what worked during this grow for me.
18/6 light for veg and 12/12 flower is what we want,, Went for 75-80 degrees in the room not much either way of that tho or they get hurt so AC and heat as needed,, Fans always fans moving air around the plants,, Molasses once a week between nutes or so,, No nutes first 2 - 3 weeks or until 3 nodes appear then only mix half what pkg suggests,, Only water based on how heavy the container is based on non-watered weight compared to watered weight you dont want to linger in between wet or dry for a long time so let them get close to dry between waterings less is more always but dont be crazy either dont let them get empty just slightly above empty its a touch thing feel it out,, Never break dark cycle,, Let tap water breath for 24hrs or more before using to water with gets out bad chlorine and other stuff,, Keep those lights close no streching this way keep them a bit shorter anyway use the Mercury light for veg and the HPS for flower,, Only transplant or upgrade containers when the roots show at the bottom of the pot they are in check this at every watering to prevent root-bind,, **also love the flying skull nuke-em for the drying/curing/storage benefits aka Powdery Mildew,mites,mold good enough but more and its totally safe sprayed buds they day we picked them dripping wet while we cut sugar leaf off and it tasted wonderful no need to rinse,,** ** ALWAYS STERILIZE THE GROW ROOM / CONTAINERS - never read this came at own cost but huge and maybe best tip i learned of all there are many ways to do it bleach/water works for me good stout mix then vape it all over the room in those pump-up jugs**,, **try to get a watering in between usage of nutes, this prevents the need of a flush until 2 weeks or so before harvest and if you dont go nuts if you use just water for 2 weeks a flush isnt mandatory based on my taste it has always seemed fine and ive tried both ways 2 or 3 times each no noticeable difference in taste to me.**
germinated 6 seeds may 18 well midnight 17th

Plants put into grow room under 18/6 light may 22
33 days in room 18/6 june 21 look good or i think they do seem small (** they were fine just give them time most explosive or noticeable growth happens latter part of flowering anyways**)
june 22 added 30 mins of daylight for veg state for the last week to give it a push before i give it 36hrs straight dark then 12/12 (look up the 36hr theory) look great 6-12 nodes depending on plant and around 1 ft maybe? take fabric ruler with so you dont trick yourself
june 22 super cropped the afghan kush about 4'' down from top about an inch above nice healthy node that hopefully will branch out and the bend will continue out and grow king colas all along the top seems to be the only laggy one so may have to flower longer but harvest the rest 2-3wks sooner (** how would i know then lol just wait it out biggest thing is to stay patient and get a jewlers loupe 30x or better so when trichs appear you can do the actually looking**)... now all plants are 15'' all very busy and similar except pineapple which is about an inch taller less bushy but is catching up seems with foliage about a day or two behind the rest so will veg for 7 -10 more days to heal the super-crop and if the pineapple doesnt turn around try LST and stake it sideways dont break just bend similar to super crop but do not damage the stalk hopefully can keep them around 24'' at the end of 7-10 days or the end of the month. then start the flower cycle 2-4 weeks indicas harvest at will and 4-8 weeks for sativas (afgan kush and possibly pineapple chunk) again harvest at will. (** ok after growing look more into the low stress training and super cropping nice to go at it mid-stroke on a plant but plan it out and give a real go on a healthy one next time always try something new if you have 6 plants do what you know with 5 and push yourself or knowledge with the other keeps you learning and from missing things you know **)
july 1 - started 12/12 flowering cycle with nutes big and tiger bloom from fox farms 24" - 30ish"

july 12 - buds forming on all plants afghan kush (super-cropped), power skunk, white domina, and thc bomb all look roughly the same 32"-36" buds on all tops and bottom buds look good from side CFL lights so wont trim but have taken off some of the yellowing lower leaves and a couple water leaves that were in the way of good looking tops (best of the plants is white domina or afghan kush they look great and seem ahead in development slightly). As for the pineapple chunk and aurora indica they are showing pistols and very new buds starting on all tops of pineapple and the aurora they seem about 3 days behind in development compared the four listed above but i can see them having good potential the aurora looks like it will be a solid chunk of bud very thick short i trimmed all yellowing and took the more healthy leaves from this one than any other plant mainly on the bottom 1/3 where no bud development was showing. the pineapple is very lanky the tallest plant close to 40" may have to bend or LST this one in the near future or leave it let them get huge and use the two HPS lights angled in and put the plants between the lights so they can touch the celing but will get light all over . anyway it is very lanky but every single one of the sparser tops have nice looking bud development still behind the first four but look maybe better than they did when they were at the same stage... still using 1/2 nutes of tiger and big 2x a week will stop and use tap 2 weeks before harvest... waiting to see actual bud looking formations they look like little popcorn nugs but hope they explode pretty quick they are 12 days in so soon i should see some results the first four which seem heavy indica should take 3-4 weeks maybe 5 to fully bud once 12/12 starts and be ready according to e-net... the other two the aurora and the pineapple may be slightly sativa so may take 4-8 weeks so just have to watch them and grab when ready. at this point they look healthy have had some droop scares and some slight yellowing but nutes and trimming have seemed to fix that along with closer attention to water when hot hot still only nute 2x a week but i sometimes have to add some tap in between as soil drys fast. but like i said today am happy as they are healthy and happy looking but all the trichs are still clear and stiff standing straight up so wait for the fuller heads and cloudy transitioning into amber still dont see cloudy so have a bit to go anyway. (** nice there but 100% cloudy is ok by me ive tried them all now clear cloudy amber but it seems that if you give them the time they need and dont push for what the seed bank says to push product and give them like 2-5 weeks longer depending on how much weed you want really but if they dont go amber and you see all cloudy trichs your good to go they will go amber in the mason jars during curing stage tested true**)
august 8 - thc bomb and power skunk thrichromes are almost all cloudy or milky no amber; most of the hairs are going red or brown colored seems like a week or two left at the most, pineapple chunk and aurora indica have less crystal development and the trichs appear all to still be clear; the hairs are all white still maybe a few red maybe 3-4 weeks left the longest of the six will probly be these ones, white domina and afghan kush are about half clear half milky but alot more crystals than the pineapple and the aurora; the hairs are turning red/brown on the bottom of the bud sites but the white hairs are still long and covered in crystal maybe 3 weeks left.

day 60 flowering - thc bomb is close waiting for some amber trichs 90% of hairs brown/red and all cloudy full trichs, afghan kush is close week or 2 left almost fully cloudy trichs no amber, auroura indica still 50% white hairs trichs close to 80% cloudy no amber, power skunk is also close a week or two left 90% more cloudy trichs no amber, white domina is 75% brown hair and 80-90% cloudy still no amber trichs, pineapple chunk large fan leaves have gone purple? not sure on this think its temp being low but bud and small leaves look good and also have a different look/color so may be the phenotype the hairs are 50-75% white still not as much crystal or trichs but not as full either meaning they are shorter and the heads are less swollen so maybe they will continue to thicken half and half clear cloudy trichs but the buds are thick fist size stubby look like little pineapples. (** i could have went that day on all of them probably from the sounds but next time just wait for the cloudy to dominate and if you go like a week an they all look cloudy and your not seeing the amber shift they may not do it at all or they may be slow either way it will finish in the jar as the bomb was harvested 2 days or less from writing this and it was my favorite flavor after all was said and done. they all had plenty of amber some had all amber but the pineapple and bomb both harvested at cloudy peak were great meds so ok to go when almost 100% cloudy. bottom line get a loupe you wont regret it**)
**ok 6 months later everything was good except the mites which were left out of the journal only because fighting them consumed the free time i had but it was the nuke-em that did it,using the sea gull feather and tap water as a brush kept the bastards at bay just hitting all the major fan leaves and any site that i could see the eggs or any sign really. With the high velocity fans it was ok they didnt get any webbing started to speak of and once i hit them with that spray it was over plus it had the benefit of controlling some pests for the storage that i was worried about as the humidity is high in this area. All the finished meds were great better than anything from the dispensories or the street, not that i am a better grower but i think between the mason jars for storage and me never shaking my nugs for crystal as i wanted to hold the integrity of the weed together so its bound to at least be 2 steps ahead of that stuff so better than anything i can buy. The amount was awesome 10, 1/2 gallon glass jars w/ self sealing lids almost topped off obviously not for curing purposes but it has lasted this long and there is plenty left just now starting another crop not out of need but of future need not wanting to run out at all. So for my own need 1-2 grows, of 6 plant/yr is way plenty of meds. also never expose to light or heat while storing its stayed good this long and i dont see an end it just tastes better the longer it sets still have about half what i harvested 6 months down the road,a QWISO filled road lol easy to do and lots of trim to do it with good way to make a little bud last long time while you cure the main bunch set some out to 'air dry' like the popcorn crap not worth curing and qwiso it up before smoking.**
