I went to a state school. I would like to see those loans restricted to certain majors as well. With many majors, we are just saddling kids with debt and leaving them worse off than they would have been foregoing college.

I hear ya dude and I was told the same thing. job placement stats were available to me though through the college for that college, and I could look at them beforehand.

The job placement stats I looked at in my first two years turned out to be completely bogus. Out of their control was the job growth rate (and entry level pay) in the legal field which plummeted from 28% to 8% from my freshman to senior year. It has been long enough now I'm just writing it off as a $30k lesson learned and going to find whatever career path I can that offers upward mobility.

that said, the constitution protects your right to contract outside of it and use any money system you want....

you have lots of options there but you can only pay taxes with one elastic fiat variety and that's the catch.

As long as domination is the primary modus operandi, you can't get to "better government".
