Johannesburg - PSL and Stadium Management South Africa have warned the more than 80 000 people expected to invade Soccer City on Saturday that the smoking of dagga will not be tolerated, according to a Sowetan report.

The league and SMSA have declared war on dagga and cigarette smokers after complaints from many supporters who are unwilling to bring their families to the matches because of secondhand smoke.
A total of 1 650 private security personnel will be deployed inside Soccer City to ensure that the Telkom Knockout final will be a resounding success.
Private security guards will complement police officers for this derby featuring Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs.
SMSA's CEO Jacques Grobbelaar said: "Security guards with binoculars will be deployed inside the stadium to mingle with the fans. We also want to plead with smokers not to bring along cigarettes and dagga. Our facilities must be a safe and secure environment for our supporters, including the young ones.

"The security and law enforcement agencies will punish people who misbehave. Stadiums are public areas, smoking is banned."
