Hey man I was just looking at the beginning of your post and am about to try to build my first homemade hydro setup... did you just take your baby and put it in the hydroton without rockwool? I am wondering because I have my clones in a daisy cloner right now and am wondering what do do with them after they actually root... thanks!

no the seedling was in rockwool and soil before the hydroton, but i have a blue widow that i put in the bucket the other day and it is in there free with no rockwool or anything! it werks, the roots with grab ahold of the hydroton for grip...i think.
