Well mr2shim, I am thoroughly impressed with that scrog grow! I am still a noob by all means, as I'm only on my 2nd grow (first was DWC, 2nd in coco). But looking at your setup, I have a couple of questions. Is that just one plant in a DWC waterfarm? If so, how in the hell did you get the branches to evenly grow like that lol? Like I mentioned before, I'm still new to this, especially scrog, but you definitely have my interest!

Yea it's all just one plant in a waterfarm. To get the plant even you have to start training it young. With this grow I topped her at the 4th node. Then I tied down the big branches so light can get to the smaller branches(they tend to grow faster and catch up to the main branches). Then I put down the scrog screen. I let the plant grow up a few inches, then pull the tops back under and outward while trying to keep the tops all at the same height. Depending on how much headroom(overall grow space) you have you can do this all in veg or you can do part of it in flower like I did.

Here's a recap. I forgot to take a picture before chop so no week 8ish picture. Starts at 7 days after seed and each pic is a week later.

That's amazing! So I guess my next question would be, how do you go about changing your nutes when the buds finally make it through the screen? Thanks again for the advice bro!

The waterfarm has a blue tube that is used to check water level and drain the reservoir. The screen is 10" from the top of the waterfarm so refilling is easy. Just fill up a gallon jug with nutes and pour in.

Too easy!! Well once I get a few grows under my belt, I'm definitely going to try this method. I'm amazed at the coverage you got from that one plant.

I use a 2.5 gallon craftsman wet/dry vac and suck the old nute solution out of my WF. Works great and only takes a minute.

That's a nice grow you have going! I like leaving the fan leaves on, they dry nice and slow. The ones that I took the leaves off smell like grass and are already crispy on the outside only after the 3rd day. The ones with the fan leaves on are still nice and soft(not molding) and still have the smell they had when it was growing. Humidity and temp are perfect.

i figure the slower the dry, the better. i like the idea of hanging the whole plant upside down after harvest to allow for a slow, even dry...definitely makes sense to me.
