G13 Labs: Pineapple Express Feminized Medical Grow

Ok so this is my first journal and only 2nd time growing. I got my beans from atude today and I have been craving for them! Started germination tonight using the paper towel method. I will be using a Canon rebel t2i to take beautiful pictures of my flowers.

Room dimensions- 8ft L x 5ft W x 7ft H
Lights-seedlings/clones(t5) veg T8 flower(1000w HPS)
Pots- seedlings in solo cups then veg and flower in 5gal
Soil-Foxfarm Ocean Forest (might pick up light warrior to mix with OF before I transplant)
Nutrients- Foxfarm trio (tiger bloom,big bloom, grow big)
Ventilation- 4" inch inline fan w/ carbon filter running to the outside
Using tap water ph'd



pre soaked last night, seeds are germinating in plastic food container in a warm moist paper towel in dark warm area.

Nice, looking forward too your journal,How many bean's you starting?The ffof tends to burn seedling so mixing with the LW sounds good

@toastynoodles Yea I heard that the ocean forest isn't great from seedlings but happy frog is.. Im going to the shop tomorrow to get more ocean forest, happy frog and light warrior. I got 5 pineapple express im growing 3 for now but I want them to get big. I'm gonna veg them for 3-4 weeks under the T8 lamp, it should be real nice. @ itofficial thanks man it should be a great grow I'll make sure to keep u guys posted. ok so only 36 hours hours of germination and all 3 pineapple express popped including one of my freebies (dinafem cheese feminized). got them in solo cups in FFOF and Light Warrior 2 to 1. I will be using the same recipe when i transfer them to 5 gallon pots in about 2 weeks. cant wait to see them peak above ground

cant wait to show u guys the thick trichs Pineapple Express produces. Ive heard some really good things about this strain. Thats why i spent my money and now my time on them! I upgraded from a 400watt HPS to 1000watt HPS so I should see the difference in bud size and density.

update: checked the plants none above the ground yet so give it a few days for me to get pictures. I want to show u guys the growth of Pineapple Express as much as possible. I wont be updating as often as i am now but i just wanted to show off my new pH meter & got rid of the old crappy one i had to calibrate with a screw.
Im also picking up clonex and root riot so i can clone these plants. It will be my first time cloning anything so if anyone could give me tips and pointers that would be greatly appreciated! I will ask for more help when the time comes and then ill actually take cuttings. Anyway heres my new pH meter, works well, easy to use & calibrate. thats all i needed.

hey yall ok here is my update on the Pineapple Express theyre all doing great and theyve been above ground for about 3 days now. Once they have been in the cups for about 10-12 days, Ill transfer them into 5 gallon buckets. I love my beautiful little garden im excited to see these grow heres some pictures to add to the update. Pictures 3-5 are pineapple express #1, #2, #3 and the 6th picture is my dinafem cheese feminized which has also been good. The temps are between 76-78F and the humidity is about 40%. I gave them ph'd water last night. Im not going to give these babies any nutes until they have about 2-3 sets of leaves and when they are in the 5 gals. I got my cloning supplies today as well so ill be trying to clone these Pineapple Express when they get a lil bit into veg. its Going to be a fun time!! Lots to learn about these! now time to get faded and relax.

end of week 1 update:
so far so good. showing vigorous growth and i still have seedlings in the solo cups. After next watering im going to transplant into my 5gals..which will be their final home. If anyone can give me a rough idea of when I should clone them, it would be greatly appreciated. Also, i got my 1000watt HPS from HTGsupply yesterday!! I bought my first light from a friend, 400w hps with the ballast that worked 3 months...so i had to get a new one but decided to just upgrade! haha great idea because this 1000watt HPS from HTG does not lack quality. The service from them was great too..they received my money order and shipped the following day. great service and product!! Anyway, i figured this harvest should be done just in time for four twenty. woohooo! The Dinafem Cheese is doing great too as you can see 5th & 6th picture, looks like its going to be purple!

PE rocks. My PE crop is a month from harvest and I'm thinking I'd like to keep it as part of my menu, growing it for a year or so, trying dif things to max out it's potential. Mb we should make a PE group so we could all compare notes??? It's a popular hybrid.

thats awesome man i cant wait till harvest! sounds like a bomb strain. Im not sure when you should clone your baby, but i think the best time to cut clones is a couple weeks into veg but i could be wrong.. I just have to read to figure it out. Jorge Cervantes' books made my life so much easier and hes like a ganja god so his books are very detailed about every single thing you need to know. But yea i plan on cloning myself, dipping in clonex, then putting into rapid rooters.

week 2 updatek, 15 days now the seeds been in soil and wow they are vigorous and showing a lot of growth. They look very happy I was originally going to transplant into a 5 gal, which i only have veg space for FOUR 5 gallon buckets. I wanted to add another one in there so I went out and bought myself Island Grow 3 Gallon Fabric Pots instead. I love them, they drain like a dream, and will never have to worry about root rot! another reason why i got them, was because i can only hang hps light at 6 1/2 feet and they need to be about 2 feet away from the plants when using a 1000W. So Im hoping these babies dont fly past 5 feet... In 5 gals thats more than possible, in 3 gals, they obviously have a smaller yield, but better size for my flower room. Ya feel me? Either way, the 1000w is gonna produce some rock solid nugs so i cant wait! Oh yeah! The 5th plant is going to be TGA's Plushberry! SUPPOSEDLY it some really tasty, dank, glistening in trichs, and a great hash maker! So im very excited about that 1.. only popping 1 so hopefully its female! haha. But this thread will continue to be about my pineapple express which i will be throwing them under 12/12 on Feb 1st. I think they look very good and pray to the lord they stay that way... i just want my own medicine and not have to buy some crappy shit off the streets that looks decent but smell horrible, taste horrible, and most of the time wasnt dryed or cured correctly... NOT SAYING im the ganja god and can do better, but with you guys and the genetics i have, and my jorge cervantes books, I think ill be fine The conditions of my room are excellent too by the way, 76 degrees with 55% humidity. Anyway hears my picture update... I just started the feed them then wanted to grab the camera before i did so, thats why the last pic looks unevenly waterd... have a nice weekend every one and stay up!

lookin good. u def have a green thumb. the organic did a sweet PE grow. did you see them buds??? so how are you gonna prune them? 4 cola style, ala uncle ben? lst? scrog? just wait till you smell them in flower. yikes.

thanks a lot man. I did see theorganics PE and he grew his out naturally and it came out beautifully... Organic told me he wish he topped his because all those lower bud sites would have probably turned into more dense buds. So i might lst & train them. Im flipping to 12/12 in about 2 weeks so i should have my mind made up by then

I have a PE 44 days into 12/12. it branched out very well and has about 15 tops and one very big main one. mine looks a bit more on the sativa side now that its late in flower. just remember this strain WILL stretch on you! it stretched as much or more than any other strain ive grown. thankfully i was able to use it to my advantage and it made it a very good yielder. try to keep that in mind!! ive had minor issues with the plant such as underwatering, ive never seen a plant drink so much water. otherwise its super easy, especially for a slightly sativa-heavy hybrid. the buds do best with trimming, topping and trainning IMO

hey skunkyum thanks for the advice, and i have read that it does stretch some. I was thinking about topping & training but i might just let them grow naturally.. just trying to get a taste of PE and i cant wait. Good luck finishing your crop and youre more than welcome to post some photos of your frosty colas here.

week 3 update:
ok, so the pineapple express is definitely getting bushy. This will be the last week in veg, ill be flippin to the 1000watt HPS 12/12 light schedule next friday, Feb. 3rd. Ive given my plants nothing but water, and theyre all lookin very healthy.. New growth takes places every day. Not much more i can say. Pictures will do justice!
