So I've used it in the past but I've always been seriously cautious with nutes and dry amendments, I've always been told LESS is more but I feel like that's over-cautious. I want to dial in the perfect amount of food for the plants without destroying them,

At the moment I have 2 JOTI Black Dreams in 5Gallon pots(week 2 flower). Ive been using 2 Table spoons per plant. The directions say 2 per gallon Tablespoon per Gallon but that's my concern... Lol, what first world problems I have fuck sakes...

its good to scratch in the top dress a week or two after you do it . so it mixes in and dose not make a weird cement layer. i like to add a dusting of diatanscious earth ( not spelled right) too, kill off anything that comes in with the top dress.

I add the veg top dress once a month (for veg) then i add the bloom top dress, on day 1 of flip day 14 and 28. and water with a alfalfa tea mix and earth worm casting molasses, kelp, and bit of fish emulsion and powdered myco. once a week. and straight water once a week. I use a few bud hardeners lightly from week six and seven (0.35.50) and 7 to 9 (0.0.50)

You guys might want to get hour mindset away from feeding huge amount of P during bloom. You don't need that much P=8 in Gaia's 2-8-4. P is not being used much at all by plants even in bloom and you might be even messing up the soil balance with that much P. This idea of requiring more P in flowering is carried over from the chemical people and marketing. Just use Gaia's 4-4-4 and you are set. I use it and my yield and quality are just as good as anyone else's.

I mix the 4-4-4 in the soil and let it cook before planting. I also top dress with it when the plant starts to show deficiency which is around week 3-4 of flowering.

Here's a tip for you all. Whenever you top dress with anything, put that stuff down first and then put a layer of EWC and Compost on top or mixed in. The microbes from the EWC and compost will break down the amendment much faster than if you don't include those two.
