Ganja Geeks 6 Strain 2000Watt Perpetual Grow

Well I finally get to give the indoor a real shot. I'm planing on running six diffrent strains as of right now. I like having diffrent flavores of herb. The strains I'm working with are Super Lemon Haze, Bubba Kush, Red Dragon, AK-47, Blue Widow, and Blue Hash. I have two rooms next to eachother to grow with. One I'll use as a clone/veg room and the other as a flowering room.

In the veg room I'll be running a 200watt T5 fluorescent light in the closet for starts and clones. For veg I'll be using an old 1000watt Metal Halide light that I'll have to buy a hood for. Once I got the hood I'll vent the room using a 6" 300cfm inline fan with a passive intake. I have an A/C I'll probably have to use for a month or two inplace of the intake.

For the flowering or Bud room I'll be running my new 1000watt system with a HPS light. I have the same fan to vent this room with. Hopfuly it should start to cool down outside by bud time. That way I don't have to buy another A/C. I'm planning on buying some climate controlers, humidifiers, and filters for each room too.

Right now I have clones of each strain growing under the T5 but their getting to big for the closet so either today or tomorrow I'll set up the 1000. Once it's set up I'm going to take cuts of each for the next run and so on and so forth.

Today I hooked up the veg room to get the clones out of the cramped closet but it's only temporary because I want to bomb and sanitize the room. I'm going to do the same to the other room. I'll also paint it white. Until that's finished I'll let the girls chill under the new 1000 with the MH running. I'll take pics tomorrow.

Yesterday the temp above the canopy reached 84 degrees and thats with the a/c on the whole day. This sucks I thought this unit would be more then enough to cool the room. Right now the light and a/c are across the room from eachother. The only thing I can think of is to place the light and plants in front of the a/c. Is there a down side to letting the a/c blast the plants?

I wouldn't think having them close to the AC would hurt, its just like having a fan in front of them but blowing cool air. 84 isnt to bad tho, especially with this Cali heat we got going.

Yeah I am blessed with some room to work with. Which made me think about drying the outdoor. I'm gonna have to use one of the rooms to dry Site 2. The bigger looking harvest. Hmm??? Maybe another bud tent or something just until it's all done.

I fed the mother plants another 1/2 tbsp of Fish Emusion. I think I'm going to switch to Fox Farm nutes for my indoor. At least for a few harvests. I also want to try Subcools Super Soil mix here soon just add water....easy as hell....organic...sounds tight.

Yesterday I sprayed the fungicide on the plants because they seem to be coming down with what looks like Powdery Mildew. It's been cold the last few days and the rooms dropped to 75 degrees. I still have to get the climate controler to stop the room from getting to cold. Probably gonna buy that tomorrow.

Yeah its nice and cool out now, its crazy how it was so hot and now its this cold, hope the PM doesn't spread, i have nightmares about that stuff lol.

Yesterday I watered the plants and set up my new climate controler. I also put a humidifier in the room. Now it feels legit... All I need for this room is a filter and it'll be complete.

Yeah me too. What can you tell me about PM? I've head a few things here and there but i haven't researched it yet. I head that it's pretty much imposible to get rid of. Something like it stays with the genetics. Hmm?

No you can get rid of it, its just really hard from what i have watched. I haven't ran into it myself, but i have followed some grows where the they got it pretty bad. So thats where the nightmares come in lol.

So how'd they get rid of it? Did they use something special? Everyone in that thread fought it off only to have it come back. Alot of what I read said they spray once or twice a week just to hold it off.

Yeah the threads i followed they got it under control, but that was about it. How sure how you would get rid of it completely.

Yeah spraying the plants every week sounds gay but I'll do it. I'm thinking I'm going to hold of on the other 1000 for the second round of veg. Instead I'm going to have to use the room for now to dry the outdoor. I'll put the T5 into the closet to keep my strains going. Maybe flower them later. I kinda want to start from seed in a nice clean room so I might do that.

Transplanted the six mother plants into 5 gallon buckets and watered each of them with a tbsp of B1.

Well i guess somebody hit a power pole close by and fucked everybodys power up. It just went off and I don't know when it'll be back on. Guess that's what I get for being at the mercy of the power company. Wish I had a generator.

Just pray your strains are all stable so you dont have any hermis popping from the power outtage stress man! I dont miss this!

Damn thats sucks, hopefully its not out for too long, would there be any way to get them some sunlight?
