A lot of things can happen from when the seed is produced until you get it your hands. The breeder and or the minimum wage workers have to deseed the bud and get the seeds into bulk labeled containers. Another employee will then have to count them out, repack and ship to seedbanks for distribution. I think sometimes a bank will get a bulk shipment of seeds for example 200 seeds of og kush in 1 container. Then a seedbank employee will repack into pack quantity for sale. Some people have no ethics and can switch the seed or replace with something different. At anytime a seed can drop or get mixed up and it’s not like each seed has its description written on it. Even the buyer can get them mixed up with the excitement of the package making it to your house. Many things can happen from the buyer to the consumer.
I have made my own seeds and no matter how careful I am, sometimes a few seeds drop out and I am like what is this from. But that’s why I have a separate container labeled as mixed seeds. Any doubt as too what it is goes into the mixed jar.
