there's a lil something called 'in your immediate area' when you are in a car. it's defined as any area you can reach without removing your seatbelt.first of all, it's not your car, and secondly it wasn't in your possession, i don't see how they can pin it on you and not one of the other two people in the car??
i think a good lawyer will get this thrown out no problem really.. it was never in your possession, and it wasn't your car, i don't see how they can pin it on you and get away with it...
i'm far from a lawyer though, but that's the way i see it..
cops use it all the time to pin shit on innocent people....
