3-4 crops so far. Chopping another one down any day now. I crop out every 3.5ish weeks. The first crop only finished under them. Like the last 3 or so weeks.
You can put your hand pretty damn close b4 it’s too hot. I’d have to setup a ladder and push a tape to give you exact.
I’m stoked with these lights! My whole goal was to reduce the amount of money I give our bastard Power company. Without hurting yield too much.
Like i’ve said, very very similar if not same yields compared to running DE at 1000w. @same coverage and @same height. 1150w DE end up a little more plump. But i’m still getting rock hard nugs with the 1930’s. The first full crop under them i was scared. Not gonna lie. But then it was trimmed and weighed and I was stoked. Buds look just as good as under DE’s/hps. I can’t say better but just as good
We’re you nervous cause the room yield looked to be smaller than normal but then weighed out on the scales? Did you change anything when you switched nutes, temps, humidity? Yeah. Was nervous because it didn’t look like it would yield as much.
Only thing i changed was the temps to keep the temps around 80-82f at canopy.
Basically. I have my AC set to 80 now lights on. When i did the experiment with only half the lights still DE’s and the other half the 1930’s that made the temps under the DE’s a little hotter than i was comfortable with but I wanted to have the perfect temps for the trial led run. It was 86-88ish under the DE’s
. In a sealed room with co2, wasn’t ideal but it worked lol.Don’t know how I missed these pictures before but garden looks awesome. Do you have 3-4ft wide tables under 2 rows of lights? Each side has 6-4x8 trays(3 rows of 2) under 8 lights(2 rows of 4).
Yup. I built rolling stands. 2 trays per rolling stand. They roll super easy, put some 6” casters under the legs.
the only unlit area in the room is the 4’ down the middle so I can roll over the trays and get in between them. It’s where the AC handlers are so really couldn’t light that area up if i even wanted.
I started doing that a few yrs back and try to build all the rooms i build for people that way now.
My last setup that I lost to a wildfire, had 6 rows that were all slammed to one side. The 4’ isle was just on one side. That kind sucked having to peel back 5 rows to get all the way in between the last trays. And they only had 4” casters

I saw a build a few years ago with unistrut for the tables, wish I could find the list again. I had a mishap with my wood tables in veg and found out how gross the wood can get so I’m trying to find a metal solution cheaper than the bontanicare slide tables. I’ve even considering watching some videos and seeing if I could possibly weld my own out of unistrut. I recently went through something similar. Except I skipped the wood. Got used food grade IBC TOte makes extremely strong tables and can be cut down quick and easy with a. Grinder. $50/ea less if you just want the frames
edit: you can just use the bottom part obvi don't have to use the ghetto tray part. Lol

Well I can’t fit those totes thru the door for water I was trying to think of a way, lol. But I’m thinking I like this idea I could cut em in my other garage and then they would fit. Are you able to roll those? Or do you think they would be sturdy enough to add casters too?

The totes have 40x48" foot print. You can use 2 under a 4x8 table. Or just one on its own.

Mine fits through my doors in my grow room with zero disassembly. I purposely cut to this height to fit through the door. I originally wanted to go one rung up but then I would have had to assemble them in the flower room and dissameble to take out.
pretty happy with the height now though.

I can't recall the name on IG but if I come across it again I will send it to you. He post the parts list and how to, for a rolling table made out of unistrut, with casters or (2) pipes on top that allow a flood table to roll back and fourth.

Dankemhunter on IG has the one I was thinking of, I found it last nite. He uses unitstut and connects it with conduit.
Thank you I appreciate it very much I’m gonna price them out today and also see how much rh materials for the Unistrut tables are. Do those totes already have wheels or did you screw those on?

Yup that's the guy I was thinking of. Other guys on IG, jtshiro, humblegardens and bloomgrowtech have build similar style tables too. I think bloomgrowtech are the ones who rigged them function like rolling tables without casters.

No they don't. I also took the bases off and used 40x48 plastic pallets cuz I bought all diff kinds of totes on accident. You know same seize tote. But different brands had different bases (some metal some plastic) and I wanted 1 consistent deisgn so I could blindly build them one after the other. Plastic pallets were $7 used from a warehouse that ships for Costco. Lol
IBC totes are rated for insane weights stacked on each other so I just used them for their structural shape. And the fact that the 40" fits the width of my room with working space perfectly.
I was thinking about adding a unistrut top though so a 4x4 tray can properly nest on top.
