Depends. If you are growing in a tent or closet, I agree, some red led is pretty perfect. For large grows, I think a 4 light mover, that simply rotates is best. This is easy using Gavita lights, the ballast, element and hood are all attached. It is much easier to rotate a complete system then just rotate a hood/bulb. I plan on using a 1:1 ratio for my plasma lights, per recommended by Gavita. What is the stray light - venus? Also, don't forget, just like HID there are commercial applications you can use to convert HID hoods and use Induction lighting conversion kits.
That would be a pretty sick setup!
I saw the Venus on Stray's website but they didnt have any specs on it, i guess its too new. They also had a couple other names and 'comming soon' Only time will tell i suppose.
Lol i've been paying so much attention to LEP technology i am behind on Induction.

I'm thinking now more of a 3(HPS):1(Plasma) now. After talking to 2 guys I know with Hort degrees. That way i can just put 1 plasma on a mover. Much cheaper, and save my plasmas for veg. Help keep numbers down! More veg to support flower with low wattage will be a dream come true. Either way, exciting shit!
