Burned tips at the top of the canopy is due to heat and low light distance to the canopy. I was running 2 1000w hps lamps, 2 600w hps lamps, a 660w qb, a 450w qb, and 2 100w COB's. The HID's were run in +15% overdrive. That's not a nutritive issue retard. That's a low ceiling and heat issue. Yet another reason I switched to all LED. The light is lower profile allowing me more headspace for the canopy.

Can we see some of your garden pictures now? I rarely get advice from a pro like yourself. I'd love to see your work.
I dont like the way you throw the r word around.
Some of us have family that are what you call 'retards'. Fucking despicable term that ignorants use.
Some of us have money and don't care about spending it. You can buy your cheap LEDs no one cares.
I never knew you can get light burn on the bottoms of the plants.
Stop trying to wave your dick around like you're Mandingo. You grow weed. Cool. So do we. And just an FYI. Theres waaaay better growers here than you.

You're really not grasping the concept of staking or the purpose of stakes are you? Let's try this again. I'm going to hold your hand and walk you through this. Stakes are used to spread out the canopy in veg prior to flower. This allows for better light penetration of the canopy maximizing light exposure to more flower sites. This results in higher yields than allowing a plant to grow in a christmas tree structure particularly when combined with extensive topping. For fuck's sake you sure are a slow learner.

So I ask you to post pictures of your work and you post a picture of a plant stalk with some larfy popcorn buds? Okay then.
He's trying to show you if you know what you're doing you don't need stakes and gepetto puppet strings

You have mental issues for sure. Your picture of your plants in full flower look like Geppetto's workshop. I hear them all yelling "I'm a real plant". The marionette structure holding them up says that is a lie.

I shared what the base of a real plant looks like along with a properly grown plant One that doesn't need help standing up unlike your overfed shit plants. Good luck switching from HPS to LED. Your tiny plants need more than a light change to get bigger.

Real plants are thick enough that they don't need to be staked.

Compliments on a nice looking plant. That plant is maybe 3' tall and maybe 2-3' in diameter. You have no canopy to spread. You have a few branches. There's nothing to spread or support. My plants in the flower room are 6-6 1/2' tall and 4-5' in diameter. Staking and spreading the branches is what creates that wing span creating a thick canopy.

The reason I trolled this thread is because I don't want new growers who are thinking of starting their first garden to see shit like this and think you have to spend $1200 for a single light to start growing with good LED's. Add on a tent, fans, etc you're pricing a lotta people outta the game. Is Gavita a good light? Sure. Just like mercedes makes a good car. I feel like these $1200 600-720w single light fixtures are like the mercedes of grow lights. That's not a compliment. Any practical human being would get the most value for their money and pocket the extra cash by buying a ford, toyota, honda, or gm. Generally it's a different kinda human being that feels the need to buy a mercedes. And it's not the sensible kind of person who wants the most value for their money.

A new grower buying their first small setup could buy an amazing led light on alibaba for a fraction of a gavita and produce similar results. But there's always those jack wagons who will say a mercedes is the only way to get around :)

I was actually talking about you my dude master grower after a year.
But I don't grow single plants at a time. I've also never claimed to be a master grower. I also don't need marionette strings to hold my buds up.

But what the fuck do I know, I'm only on my 2nd grow.
