Geekmike's Farm

Sweet and the one side is shiny and reflects good ? my flower room isn't going to be as big as yours but I hope it looks as nice and organized as yours, I'm stuck on the electrical right now just trying to figure out like How many receptacles, where they should go, how high off the ground lol it takes many many joints and many pieces of paper for a stoner DIYer to figure it all out LOL

Yeah you would have too but I don't think I need a sub panel I'm fairly close to my 200amp panel in the basement and I'm not running near the wattage you are so I should be good with just running a few lines straight for the main panel. What do you think ?

Good point but is that something I could do myself ? I'm going to look in to it for sure Thanks for your advice

Geekmike I just want to say thank you, I've done some research and looks like I'm going to put in a 60amp sub panel even though I probably wont need that much it just makes more sense. So thank you and I will give you rep soon as I can rep you again

just wanted to give a quick heads up for future stuff.

Getting back from LA on the 19th, starting construction on my 8x8 veg room (identical in build to my flower room) then, we flip the 6k for the first time.

Super pumped for this trip, love hanging w/ all the Nerds. I fly out on the 14th.

Bringing my Video camera and DSLR, you should see a lot of those here.

Im afraid if you have to ask yourself that question then the answer is no. Dont mess with electricity if you dont know EXACTLY what your doing.

Have a great time mike :peace:

I'm good with electrical I've just never wired a sub panel before, I did some research and I know I can do it but thanks for your concern

Just make sure your Neutrals and Grounds are each on their own bars, not the same one. I know sometimes on a main panel you can do that, but they must be separate on a subpanel, as you can get current going back through the grounds into the main panel if you do.

Sorry to make this part of your thread about electrical Geek, lol.

Wish I could go and meet all the nerds going... but hoping i'll definitely be there next year if all goes according to plan i'll be living within driving distance by then :) Your new setup sounds badass mike... can't wait to have that kind of dedicated setup.

hey there mr.fuckingcool..... :D i'd like to check out your room build! like to know where you got your 4x8 foam core sheeting for $12 a sheet too? looks good man.

I just got the overwhelming urge to roll something up and to go look at my plants lol. Thanks for the inspiration boss.
Ain't no need to visit The Netherlands anymore haha. I'm banking on Dutch Breeders moving to Cali by the masses once the fed stops dicking around!

It's nice to see you guys doing work as brotherhood man! Teamwork makes the dreams work :joint:

Been jumping around from Smart Pots, Hydrofarm Dirt Pots now I am at the Roots Organics Dirt Bags. I have always disliked the depth i had min the smarties and the hydrofarm are a little deeper but about the same. I just transplanted 3 plants into the new Roots bags and it's at least 4" deeper than the smarties. To add, the thicker bags dont pour out the side when you water.

So far, I am happy w/ the Root's Dirt Bags, going to have my entire run in them, get a good idea on the performance. They were also 25% less per bag than the smarties.
