Not to be a douch but I see a thread titled "General Organics Talk" and come in to find nothing but talk about bottles and ml's and product lines.
thread fail...... learn the dirt guys and watch your troubles melt away :-)

I understand how hard it can be to dump ideas about "dosages" and "ml per gallon" and "feeding the plant" but its essential if your going to have any success in organics that your work the DIRT first... you feed the DIRT first... and you LOVE the DIRT first, and simply supliment with products and liquids to make up for shortages and mistakes.

end rant.

u missed the point... it's about the General Organics product line, not about organics in general

hey guys just finished reading through the whole thread awesome info..I to herd that you dont have to PH ur solution after mixing but, only after i watered once with it Ph adjusted lol... i was hesitant to let it sit..as it was in the 4.7 range and it took 10 drops of Ph up to get it to even 6.2 which is where i left it and fed with it...IM certain there shouldn't be any issues as I've only done it once but next time ill know not to Ph adjust it...also i know that Mycos dont like High lvl's of nutrients.... so my question is when is the best time to give your plants stuff like great white,if your main focus during vegg is to supply ( not High ) but good amounts of nutrients for vigorous growth?

dont use the chemical ph adjust with organics. Use a product with silica, my fav is dynagro protekt. itll raise the ph and help the plant in other areas as well. Use great white at the very beginning, only one or two applications. They should reproduce as long as you feed them

so no chemical Ph adjusters aye.what stuff would you recommend that will raise Ph natually...as i already know Apple cider vinegar and or lemon juice will lower it..also what about diatomaceous earth thats 90% silica i have shit tonz of Food grade D.E could i use that stuff on my plants?

You are correct, GO says you dont need to check or adjust ph. But, my experience with them was a little different. I was getting a reading of 4.5-4.8 when i mixed, so i adjusted to a 5.2. It is a good lineup, I will continue to use their BioRoot and BioWeed. My only complaint was that i had to use 90ml per feeding to get ppms around 1100. Each feeding was with a gallon and a half every 2-4 days depending on pot wieght.

My experience with D.E was that it actually lowered my ph unless it was bubbled. Idk why, everyone else that has tried it has had it raise their ph. I'd mix some with water to see what it does. I use Dynagro Protekt. Its cheap and works well.

It raises pH quite easily, you won't have to exceed the dosage at all, nor do you want to do that.

all I want to say is that General Organics nutrient line-up is the shit man.

i recently bought their new 'GO-BOX' (not called 'GROW BOX' like you would think) and its basically a cardboard box, that whenever you close it, it has a built in handle at the top, so you can carry the box and keep your nutrients organized and keep them from spilling/leaking on your floors.

Anyhow, I bought their 'go box' about 3 months ago.. I think I paid about $35.00 for the entire thing. Not only does it come with 100% organic nutrients.. but it also includes several additives/supplements which are also 100% organic.

I've currently got a 'Snow White' plant going.. which is almost done. She's been flowering for about 8 weeks now and is looking absolutely incredible! Her buds are starting to really full-in.. the trichs have gone from clear to white/cloudy. The trichs on her, are just so abundant, its almost ridiculus! The trichs are all over this bitch man.. even on the stems! Anyhow, she's really starting to look like she's on her final week to two weeks probably.. before she's ready. As I was saying, about the trichs.. I can actually just look at the plant, without a scope.. and I can see the trichs color and how they've changed over the past few weeks. They went from clear (early stages of development) and now, without a scope, I can look at them.. and they look like white dots.. so I know the resin inside the trichs is maturing.. I had to get that out because I've never really noticed that before I don't think.

Anyhow, back to the GO BOX. This stuff is by far the best nutrient/additive line-up I've used so far.. and that's no bs. I paid under $40 for the entire box from my local hydro shop.. and the box came with all of the following:

  • BioThrive Bloom & BioThrive Grow - 16oz.
  • BioBud - 8 oz.
  • Cmag+ - 8 oz.
  • BioMarine - 8 oz.
  • BioRoot - 8 oz.
  • Diamond Black - 8 oz.
  • BioWeed - 8 oz.

Here's a link to it for anyone interested - http://www.ncwgs.com/gogobox.php

They're price is $37.50 but I paid a little less than that for mine.

Anyhow, the shit works great!! Just be careful when using them because they're some fairly stout nutrients. I would suggest getting their 'online feeding chart' and take a look at it. However, I would also suggest users of this product to NOT FOLLOW the chart... instead of following the chart exactly.. I would suggest taking a look at the chart, and whatever it says to use for whatever stage your plants are in.. take it down a notch or two from what the chart suggests you use.

In other words, if it says to use 1/2-tsp of Bio-Root... I would suggest taking that down a notch, down to 1/4th-tsp until you get a feel for how strong the nutrients are.. and how the current plant(S) you have going.. react to the nutrients. Just to get a feel for things..

Highly suggest this product to all growers! Even the new people!

peace.

I have been using the smallest dosage as state on the back of the bottle...But in unison they are strong...I mixed up 10 ML's grow 10 ML's bloom 10ML's Marine 3 1/2 ML's Root and 5 ML's Weed got around like 850-900 PPM...Im getting a reading of about 5.1-5.2 ish which is ok...But im going to get natural UP from Earth juice so i can raise it to about 5.5

You don't want to raise it, it raises on its own. This is a "no pH-ing" nutrient line, you'll screw things up if you start messing with pH. Trust me, I've used it since it was released.

.......un-crashes the party
haha I shot water out my nose at the "uncrash" part.

Good thread guys. Been looking at this line a bit myself. Been wanting to do a run in coco with this stuff and see how it works out. I might spring for the go box and give it a run.

I'm not sure how well it would work in coco, but by all means give it a shot. I'd like to see the results.
