you have a ppm meter? You may end up with too much calmag, if you add it as the go schedule says. you might want to add calmag every other feeding...

Im switching to organic, im gonna run the go see how it goes. Then maybe botanicare or earth juice if Im unhappy with go. So far GO is great
GO Cal Mag is weak, don't skimp on that one in particular. The line works great, but you have to feed heavy.

Should I check my ppm first?
If you're talking about your water, probably. If you have city water, let it aerate for 24 hours. If you're using well water it helps to know just what's in your water before you start mixing. Iron is generally pretty high in well water, but it depends where you are. There are a lot of possible answers, without knowing more it's hard to say just what to do.

Personally, I'd give it a go and see how it does. I don't pH the GO line at all, just mix and feed. Unless you're dealing with really nasty water you'll probably do fine. If you used tapwater for veg, and with the Botanicare stuff and had no issues then I doubt you'll have issues w/ GO.

Yea I'm using tap about 200 ppm, when I ran the flora series I never let it sit out. Just filled my res and ran it! It worked great too..
Obviously I'm not using hydro with the go line( using promix) but yeah I figure I'll let the water sit out for a few hours outside maybe and then I fill a 5 gallon bucket. Mix my Nutes (x5) and feed. So far everything looks good but my plants are recovering from some heat stress so I really won't know until they work through that first..

using go box at half strength and it seems like there is a nitrogen deficiency should i water at full strength next time.....older leaves are turning yellow and dying during veg stage
newb need help

yeah u shouldn't be running half strength. Use the recommended amounts of nutes

I actually waited to feed mine for the first time until they were about 12 days old. i feed them using the recommended. They took it in well and really took off. So i done a little research and talking and decided to increase nutes to see what happens with them considering they are plant extracts so i figure itd be hard to burn plant with plant. Anyways i ended starting to feed every 5 days since then with no issue. I played around with the settings so to speak like how every bottle has a recommended feed for light or heavy. I lightened some while decreasing others to avoid a high ppm and they absolutely love it. They smell for vegging is ridiculous. But i find the go box interesting in that it can be simple for beginners (as easy as reading the ingredient list and baking a cake) or more complex for experts in the sense that instead of 3 bottles with multiple nutes in each one the nutes are seperated into about 7 bottles i think is whats in it? so basically you have more control over fine tuning your particular strains diet etc. So either way new or expert i think its a good solid nute box.

And on top of that for $30 bucks come on show me some diff nutes with a good well balanced food pyramid like this thats as healthy as well bc i dont wanna contaminate my lungs with synthetics for the same price.. i challenge it really i love hearing new oppinions/suggestions id be happy to hear about more healthy products coming out(these are only ones i know this organic)

i should mention my soil mixes have alot of dolomitic lime so ph is always good in my soil. could have something to do with why i can feed so often idk. maybe someone can shed some light

Ive been using the GO line on my Ripped Bubbas that are now maybe 50 days into flower and they've loving it. At full strength I could really see them take off after feeding so i quickly changed to a feed, feed, fresh water schedule. Ive also recently picked up hygrozyme, silica blast and sweet raw just to beef it up a bit.

Yah especially with marine based ferts you will get bursts of growth after a feed, just dont over do it there is mercury as well as other metals present in these products (moreso in the marine based ones)

I recently purchased the GO Box. I plan on using these nutes with coco. Do i need to add anything to the coco before i grow in it?

just realized i wrote flower, haha. Wow i smoke too much if it took me days to realize that. I meant that my RBs were 50 days in veg.

My new city uses chloramine so my tap water is no good without an expensive filter. I'm wondering if I will run in to ph issues using distilled water? I know distilled is 7.0 but it doesn't contain any buffers like tap water and am wondering if the GO line is truley designed with those buffers in mind

I use RO and dont add shit for quite a while. just plain water til they get pretty big.

Id say calmag only for the first few weeks if needbe. butI add a little dolamite so I dont even need that at first.

FYI

Chloramine is simply chlorine (bleach) bonded with ammonia to prevent out gassing.

You often here people saying 'leave your tap water out for 24 hours to get rid of the chlorine". Well if it's actually chloramine odds are nothing is happening.

They then water and...nothing bad happens. The quantities are really low, we drink it and our outside plants drink it. It is an issue for fish though.

There are products available to break the chlorine / ammonia bond. One I use in my planted aquarium is Prime from SeaChem - http://www.seachem.com/Products/product_pages/Prime.html

It converts the chlorine into cloride (table salt) and ammonia into ammonium (nitrites). Prime also binds heavy metals. It also contains a 'slime coating' for fish which is actually aloe-Vera.

Read up a bit more on chlorine and chloramine in tap water before you decide what to do. You may not have to do a thing if you have chloramine. :)
