General tips that's not talked about!!!

So this is your first grow congratulations!!! Here are a few tips that aren't mentioned or talked about or even shown on YouTube. First of all slowdown and relax. You won't have a crop overnight. One of the first things that you need is Patience, Patience is a must. Next is beware of all the prima donnas out there. They all think the professionals on how to grow this shit. Three things you need light, air, & water. Don't be fooled with all the talk about nutrients. The potency is all in the genetics of the seeds. Without nutrients you'll not have density and you'll not have a greater yield. But the potency is still there, so don't skip the price of the seeds that you
'll purchase from seed bank. Keep the calendar to let you know when to feed, veg, and when to flower. Sometimes less is more. I would rather give it less water then more water than it needed. the same would go with nutrients if you give it to much nutrients You are going to burn and kill your plant. Not good! And yes let's talk about PESTS, pests are going to happen. Any grower who said that they have never had pest are lying to you. Hey it happens but they are easy to get rid of. Ladybugs yep Completely organic. And last if you don't fail you won't succeed. Have fun, experiment, and do what works for you!!!

Don't harvest early..I've done it then watch the buds shrink up as they dry. Kelp is your friend. Use the summer to your advantage. Flowering completion by sellers is a lie..:bigjoint: Research all you can. Knowledge is a great asset in all things. Some plants are duds.

Don't use bud hardeners or finishers if your new (even experienced growers), I've seen crops ruined by the stuff being accidentally used too soon and the buds are stunted badly 1/10 th possible yield and buds look terrible, better for hash then smoking. Big risk for 10-20% more yield.

That's just restating the OP's point though that with nutrients less is best.

And make sure that the plants get oldies but goodies music in veg. Like chubby checker, temptations, etc. Do not play that music in flower. It's a whole new ball game then. In flower when using LEDs disco is what is now being played, and in flower using hps Elvis and Michel Jackson are creating huge yields. Just a few tid bits I thought I'd share.

+rep for you whoever you are. A lot of good stuff for those newer to this game. You could have stopped at patience and said a lot. Good thing you didn't though.
