yeah bro, gotta remember not everyone does sog style grows. i myself am very concerned with my state law which says 5 or less plants is a misdemeanor so i keep it at that number. with his setup a run of 20 per tier would put him at 80 plants, thats bigtime felony where im at. it sounds like he grows them about like i do, 2' tall and 2' wide each.

He doesn't have to do that many! He would have 10 cuttings (which aren't plants until they root) + 10 plants in veg and 20 in flower, I see a max of 40, with 30 being most of the time.
If state law is the concern, then definitely keep the plant down and don't do it this way, but most states don't differentiate until you pass like 99 plants. 30 would be the same amount of trouble as 10. That is of course unless your MMJ in which case the ridiculous "guidelines" setup are an object of contention.
I know that in California I would grow 30 plants as an MMJ patient without any worries. As long as they were in the SOG as described. Supreme Court of California decided that you have the right to defend the amount you grow in court. As long as they can't get you for selling it, you should be fine.
6 plant limit is so ridiculous. One guys got a 6 foot tree outside, I've got a 2" plant inside, but somehow the law doesn't differentiate...stupidity.
