Germanating seeds in the the light or dark

so i started my Afgan seeds 12 hr's in water then 12 or so hr's in a warm damp cloth between two plats. Now i have planted them in moist soiless mix with a heating pad, and dome so should i keep a towel over the dome or just put under lights... thanks in advance .

Keep em dark and cool till they sprout, then ease them into the light.

Well i would just leave them under the light once they are in the soil. Otherwise you could go take the towel off and then there a 5mm sprout that has no colour, then it could get burnt under the intense light. Start them off in thie dim for a day or two after they sprout then crank up the intensity.

it would kinds be like trying to germ them in light and not between two plates,, if you get me, take it easy....

Also the heat pad well help speed up root growth so kudos.

you mean keep em in the dark and warm

put under the light as long you have soil covering them, no one turns off the sun when grown in nature and they grow natraley with no problems.

I always keep mine in the dark with a warm papper towel
