Germinate In soil

Finally got my room setup and I'm ready to start germinating some seeds.

So I've been reading up on the pros / cons of ptm and jiffy pots, and it seems like both ways work fine for germinating seeds. But here's my question... wouldn't it be even better just to put thee seeds into soil on day 1? If I keep the soil moist that just seems like nature's way.

If you're only dealing with a couple seeds is there really any reason to dick around with transferring?

i have germinated in soil a bunch of times and it works great! just use a heat pad under your trays. You could use the dome setup with some rapid rooters also. it works for me with about a 95% success rate.

Putting them right into the medium is the correct and best way to germ a seed. Any method that requires handling an already germed beans only invites problems.

ok heres my way lol dnt know if its ben bossted i take a snuff can all cleaned up get a foled up moist not driping papertowel and put the bean in side the fold put it in the snuff can and put it on top of a tv or a fish tank light the cable box lol any thin that stays warm...the snuff can is light tight it keeps perfect humidity and it usally pops in like 24hrs no b.s i have a green house fem lemon skunk seed in a can i satreded early yeasturday i cheaked it this mornig an d the tail is already out hope it help and this is my fisrt time with a fem seed hope its a girl and not a she male lol good luck keep it growin lol
