paper towel method in a warm dark place ( on top of the water heater for me) This allows u to see the seed when in pops (unlike soil) i dont have anything against the water in cup method except a lower personal success rate.

ok i think ill just go with the paper towel method so how wet do i get the paper towels and how many would be best to use?

i use half of a paper towel folded in half and leave no "Standing" water in the bag. so only the towel is really wet, with drops around the bag. (you shouldnt be able to tilt the bag back and forth and see water moving)

dude , let your seeds sit in water for a few hours or overnight, then put them into a moist papper towel , that method is the best.
