it should work as long as its kept warm. the warmth really is the key. you are supposed to keep it dark and warm but the warmth is what really helps them break the shell.I stacked two small plates, put the wet paper towel with seeds on top and put the plate on a lamp, will this work/help its winter were i am now so there no other warm place?
I just did my first seeds the other day soaked em overnight in plain water, planted in starter cube and two day later 7 of the 11 planted are about an inch. ( Also I put them in a humidity dome and under T5 as soon as I planted them). 4 days in and 4 of them have yet to pop but I guess 7 is a good first time effort. Just my two cents. Basic but effective it seems.
