Germination after freezing seeds

I purchased some seeds a few weeks ago and threw them in the freezer since I had no idea when I was going to get around to them.

I opened up a pack, and tossed a seed in a shot glass heated at 24c. With this method I usually have a tap root after 16 hours, but I never did this from a seed from the freezer.

Questions. Do seeds take longer to germinate coming from a frozen environment? Also, have anyone ever used the glass of water method and have it take longer than 24 hours to see a tap root?

I don't need to hear that you shouldn't put seeds in the freezer, I may have already learned my lesson.

I have no idea for your situation but the past 2 years as I start my summer outdoor grow. I have each year 2 seeds in the old garden beds starting to grow a plant. So I would think since my seeds survived the Canadian winter, you’d think a seed from the freezer would work too.

This was my logical but I did minimal research. I'm kinda hoping there was a crack of light that my seed has been exposed to. I'm going to give it 8 more hours before trying a new seed.
