yes, this will help not to damage them.So I should plant them on cotton to avoid the risk of damaging the tap root?
How? the guy told him to plant them when he said he doesn't have his soil mix yet. yes cotton will help not damage the tap root, but obviously he can't plant them yet.Your not very smart.thats why he....oh nvm..
Them taproots are gonna grow hella long in another 1/12 days..go buy some soil...jiffys starter is 6 bucks
ooops, misread the post. You were clear newbieharvester.plant them with it
Sorry, misinterpreted the first post. But wont the tap roots die without h2o?Put them on cotton for 1 1/2 day, then plant them with the cotton, thought it was obvious Thx for understanding Steph
this one????Why would you germinate seeds without having anything to put them in?
No, this question. "But wont the tap roots die without h2o?"this one????
Touche...you made a valid pointDont agree, they will root in the cotton as if it was soil, then you plant them right into the soil with the cotton that will dissolve/break down since it is organic. The best thing is obviously directly in soil. Or jiffy seed starter as well, but cotton is better than towels, paper and other things, rockwool is also good.
And ALL medium should be kept HUMID, not soaked!
