Germination Question

I have been germinating 8 cannabis bag seeds for 2 days and they all have sprouted. I will not have access to the soil mix I need for 1 to 1 1/2 more days. Will the seeds still be good if I leave them germinating for 1 to 1 1/2 more days? :leaf:

technically they will be fine. However, you need to take extreme caution when planting them as the tap root will be extremely susceptible to damage.

Your not very smart.thats why he....oh nvm..

Them taproots are gonna grow hella long in another 1/12 days..go buy some soil...jiffys starter is 6 bucks
How? the guy told him to plant them when he said he doesn't have his soil mix yet. yes cotton will help not damage the tap root, but obviously he can't plant them yet.

jiffy seed starter kit (the hockey pucks not the soil mix (it sucks))

the 12 puck w/ hum. dome cost me $2.13 USD at home depot. it works well and you will be less likely to damage the taproot that way. plus it will give you time to get your soil mix just right before having to plant them.

With the cotton method, you are still pushing the time limits on getting that thing in the dirt.

Dont agree, they will root in the cotton as if it was soil, then you plant them right into the soil with the cotton that will dissolve/break down since it is organic. The best thing is obviously directly in soil. Or jiffy seed starter as well, but cotton is better than towels, paper and other things, rockwool is also good.

And ALL medium should be kept HUMID, not soaked!
